I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Just Dial Ltd. for non-activation of promised services and delay in mandate processing, despite receiving a down payment from me.

Company Name: Just Dial Ltd.
Subscription Plan: 2-Year Listing Plan priced at ₹59, 472 (₹4956/month including 18% GST)
Payment Mode: ECS (Electronic Clearing Service)
Down Payment Paid: ₹9912 (2 months' ECS payment)
Mandate Status: Still not cleared (as of July 2, 2025)
Service Status: Not activated as promised
Issue:
On June 21, 2025, a Justdial representative visited me and collected a signed mandate along with a down payment of ₹9912 (2 months' advance). I was assured that the listing/profile would be activated within 3-4 days post mandate clearance. However, even after more than 10 days, the mandate hasn't been cleared and the profile is still inactive. The company is citing internal issues with the mandate process.
Request:
Due to the delay, lack of service activation, and poor handling of the onboarding process, I no longer wish to continue with this subscription. I request:
Full refund of ₹9912 paid as down payment
Immediate cancellation of the ECS mandate request
No further deductions from my account
I believe this falls under deficiency in service and unfair trade practice, as services were not rendered within the assured time even after full advance payment.
I kindly urge you to look into this matter and help me get a full refund at the earliest. I am ready to provide any additional information or documents if required.
