Kalyan Silks — Exchange policy and very cunning staff

We selected a silk saree(for gifting purpose) and informed the staff that we would need to return this, in case, the receiver is not happy with our selection. They assured us that you can bring it anytime and they would be only happy to make an exchange. Now we payed the bill(7300 Rs) and got the saree home. As expected we needed an exchange and now they say, they cannot exchange the item since the blouse piece is cut. Well who asked them to cut the piece???We never did and in fact we did'nt want tat to be done. Theye themselves did this and now putting all faults on the customer. They should not have cut the same, when we had explicitly informed them tat we might require an exchange. We feel cheated.
