I bought kellogs fruit delight muesli in july 2016 which had manufacturing date of may 2016 and has a shelf life of 9 mi=onths i. e. upto feb 2017.

We have eaten some portion few days back and yesterday to my shock, i noticed small crawling insects in the muesli.

I made a video of that now. i also spoke to customer care at kellogs who informed me that they have not received any such complaint and this is such first incidence reported. to my surprise, internet is full of such complaints.

Consumer is advised to file complaint with District Designated Officer (Food Safety) of thta jurisdiction along with with the sample specimens and video for initiating regulatory action.

hi.i did file online complaint with FSSAI and also spoke to them.No reply received from them so far.it seems they are very relaxed about these issues and do not bother much.

Hi, Online complaints will not work. As suggested by me contact your area Designated Officer (Food Safety). They need to verify whether your complaint is genuine. Since your issue relates to worms, any delay in approaching the Dept. officials will make your claim weak.

Hi. As advised by you, i tried to speak to designated official on 9810666461 of FSSAI for north delhi, on nos. as per their list.surprisingly, the person was very rude and said that he cannot help in this case and told me to contact helpline no of fssai. he was not interested at all and told me he no longer looks at such cases.on being asked if he has left fssai, he said yes.but his name is there on updated contact list of fssai .i wonder how such people get salaries in govt. offices.

when i called helpline no, they informed me they cannot give the status to me and told me to mail the concern to some other email id.they were also not interested.

is fssai there to help the consumers or harrass them?

now i have sent a mail to commissioner of fssai .lets see what reply i get.
