I had placed an order through the KFC online app, and after a successful transaction (details attached below), the payment was deducted from my account. However, no order was placed, and it is not reflecting in my order history either.

Since then, I have been following up with your customer care team repeatedly. Every time I call, I’m given false assurances that I’ll get a callback. It’s been over a week now, and I have not received a single response or update.

    Wow, what an experience! Ordered a Rice Box Meal with Smoky Grilled Chicken from Zomato, and I must say, the culinary innovation left me speechless. My rice and chicken were perfectly chilled, my fries felt like they had been stored in Antarctica, and to top it all off, my Pepsi was served steaming hot—truly, a chef’s special twist on beverages!

    The best part? The restaurant is just 300 meters from my house! So, either my food took a leisurely sightseeing tour before reaching me, or Zomato has discovered a new way to defy the laws of physics.

    Oh, and the Smoky Grilled Chicken? Not even packed in the signature KFC red bag—because who needs proper packaging when you can just throw food in a random container? Clearly, the effort in presentation matches the effort in serving fresh food!

    Of course, customer service is top-notch too—if you enjoy getting ignored! Zomato’s resolution process? “Just rate the food low.” Because who cares about customers when they can just “express their disappointment” and move on hungry?

    Tried reaching out to KFC directly, and they’ve mastered the art of disappearing calls—you’ll be kept on hold for eternity, only for them to disconnect the moment it’s your turn. Truly, customer service at its peak!

    A huge shoutout to Zomato and KFC for making me question my life choices. If you ever want to experience starvation after paying a hefty amount, I highly recommend this service. 10/10 would NOT recommend!

      Hello i placed an order online for delivery through the KFC App at 7:52PM on 26 March, 2025 from the KFC store at Gulshan Mall, Sector 128 and paid through my Phone Pay UPI Id.

      Payment Deducted but order was not accepted by the KFC App,

        I have ordered from KFC TN Kandanchavadi, Chennai via KFC app at 9 PM, Date-19/03/2025 (Order ID: [protected]). Estimated delivery time was 45 min. But after even 1:30 hr, no trace of my order. In order search history, when I am searching for order, no details of my order is coming. In track order option, order is being delayed for indefinite period of time and restaurant is not reachable via phone. I have paid fully 402.01 Rs. during ordering and there is no way to reach the delivery or restaurant. I want full refund and compensation.

          I recently had an issue with KFC through Zomato, where I received the wrong order. While they initiated a refund, I was shocked to find that reordering the same item cost more than double the original price after GST, delivery fees, and service charges.

          This means that when a restaurant makes a mistake, customers end up paying much more just to get what they originally ordered. The delivery platform claims that their system is "designed this way" and refuses to offer any real solution.

          This isn’t just my problem - it affects everyone who gets the wrong order. Customers shouldn’t have to bear the extra cost for a mistake they didn’t make.

                I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding two unsuccessful online orders placed through the KFC app, resulting in payment debits without order confirmation or refunds.

                First Incident:

                Date: January 10, 2025
                UPI Reference Number:[protected]
                Amount Paid: ₹180.77
                Despite waiting for over a month, no refund has been issued for this transaction.
                Second Incident:

                Date: February 7, 2025
                UPI Reference Number:[protected]
                Amount Paid: ₹196.77
                The same issue occurred today, with the payment debited, but the order was not placed.
                I have attached proof of payment for both transactions for your reference. Despite patiently waiting for a refund for the first incident, there has been no resolution, and now I am facing the same issue again.

                I request immediate assistance in processing refunds for both payments and an investigation to ensure that this problem does not occur again for other customers.

                Looking forward to a prompt resolution.

                  I had ordered - Wednesday Special Bucket and MEican Zinger Pro Burger on[protected] @ 8 pm . I choose the option upi for payment and paid 708.92 . But unfortunately my order was not placed and i contacted kfc inida -

                    Nature of Complaint:

                    I, ANEETA SUSAN SAJI, filed this complaint against KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken, CHENGANNUR, kerala ) for deficiency in service, causing mental agony, and financial loss.

                    On December 25, 2024, I placed an order through the KFC app for Christmas dinner, expecting timely delivery. However, despite waiting for an extended period, the order was not delivered. The lack of communication and updates from KFC caused significant inconvenience, particularly as we had guests waiting for dinner, including elderly individuals.

                    Relief Sought:

                    I request the Hon'ble Consumer Court to direct KFC to:

                    1. Refund the total amount paid for the order, i.e., Rs 904.20.
                    2. Pay compensation for mental agony and financial loss, totaling [3000].
                    3. Pay costs of this complaint.
                    4. Refund should be done through the given Account address. Account no:[protected]

                        I placed an order from KFC app on 09/10/2024 at 8:34 pm. The order was confirmed and it showed as "order on the way". After an hour, it is showing the order in delivered section. But I did not receive the order at all. I tried calling the restaurant also the KFC customer care number. I was kept on hold and nobody responded. Order no - K765A35583.

                          An order was placed by mistake at KFC delhi Dwarka sector 21, Food court, Pacific Mall, counter no. FCC/2F/02, Second Floor on 4th september 2024, which was immediately cancelled on call and on telephonic conversation it was conveyed that the money will be reverted at source. But till date i have not received any refund. Kindly look into the matter at the earliest.

                            Actually I want to tell u that I ordered my order on sep 4 2024 just last week...
                            I pay them through my gift card but after 2 hours they did not send my order so when I checked again it was showing my order as null...but after when I try to use my gift card it was already used so I am unable to use that again but I didn't receive my order and also kfc restaurant no. And also their helpline no. Is not usable I cannot call them maybe they had blocked me.

                                On 30 October at 8:20 pm i ordered food from KFC Leela Bhawan outlet, Patiala.
                                I ordered from the Kiosk machine and successfully made the payment for my order which was ₹681 via my UPI ID.
                                The Kiosk machine showed payment failed and i called the manager who was not ready to talk first of all, then finally when i explained him the issue, he said we didn’t receive any order, you have to order again and wait for the refund on your last payment.
                                Overall they were just mentally harassing me and did not try to help me at all.

                                  My transaction was cancelled due to online payment issue by kfc Patna (Gandhi maidan branch ) although rupees 397 was debited from my bank account on 21st of July..
                                  The manager said they will refund it in few days but till date I haven't recieved my refund and they are not cooperating me..! Please take some legal actions on them as the entire team is very ill mannered specially the manager..!

                                        I placed an order for kfc but the delivery never came has been 24 days and still no refund have callled customer care they say they will connect me to a store team but the call never comes. Have called the kfc support number atleast 12 times out of which 5 times they said store team will contact me but they never do.

                                        I want my refund of 383 rs now this is unacceptable i went hungry that day as a student i dont have a lot of money
