Today, on 01/07/20222 Myself and 4 other colleagues went to KFC outlet situated in South Kalamassery, Eranakulam, Kerala at 1.30 pm . We ordered food at the same time and they took Rs 1164, out of Rs 450 as cash and Rs 714 from my colleagues credit card . The Cashier /Biller lady informed there were some error to the machine so they could not produce bill . In fact As per KFC manual, if there is no bill, means free food for the particular customer . But we did not claim for such free foods . But when the food was delivered, we knew some of the food that we order was not in the delivered food . We ordered for Burger that cost less than 100 rupees . But we had no bill provided to cross check, in fact . One staff named Mr Amal ( guess he is supervisor ) came to our table and said you had not ordered burger. Then I asked him How we could know the items with out checking the order . Then he insulted us saying 'You dont need to pay for this, its free and i will pay the bill '.Then he went inside and after afew moments one staff brought the food and we ate them ..We did not ask for the bill, yet as we know that there would be problem for the staffs .After having food, i went up to the cashier counter, and wanted to pay for the burger .Then the same person Mr Amal said the bill amount is Rs 564 means Rs 179 per piece and explained its Classic Zinger .Actualy i ordered 3 spicy Burgers but not zingers . Then Mr Amal started to behave rude .He insulted us in front of the customers and shouted at me and abused " You dont need to pay, its free for you " don't you feel ashamed of yourself not paying on your food " etc Actually I was ready to pay the amount even though it was their mistake . During the heat conversation between me and Mr Amal, The manager came down asked what exactly happened . I explained to him and he was very much convinced and he conveyed apology, I paid the amount of Rs 564 by using my card .We were insulted in that shop where about 50 people gathered to have their lunch . .Hence i strongly urged for my first bill of Rs 1164, then the manager told me to wait . After a few minutes, he produced a bill that was printed @2.32 pm ! .We took this order @1.35 pm and that they had technical issue to print the bill.
My concern is to take action against the particular employee for ill behavior and against the outlet for poor services

KFC India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
