I would like to raise a complaint regarding the poor customer service and unresolved refund issue faced by me with KFC India.
On 21st May 2026 at around 9:00 PM, I placed an order worth Rs. 720 (Ultimate Savings Chicken Bucket – Order No. K[protected] while I was in Bangalore for official work. The order was expected to be delivered by 9:45 PM, however it was never delivered.
I contacted KFC customer support multiple times between 10:00 PM and 10:45 PM for updates. Each time, I was informed that the order would be delivered shortly and that the store team would contact me. However, neither the order was delivered nor did I receive any callback from the store.
Finally, at around 10:45 PM, I requested cancellation of the order due to the excessive delay. KFC customer support confirmed that the cancellation request had been accepted and assured me that the refund would be processed within 7 days.
However, even after more than 20 days, I have neither received the refund nor any proper communication from KFC India. Despite repeated follow-ups with customer care, I continue to receive only generic responses stating that the team will get back to me or that the store will contact me.
I currently reside in Delhi, while the order was placed in Bangalore. Despite this, KFC representatives continue redirecting the matter to the store instead of resolving the refund issue directly. Since the payment was made to KFC India/Devyani Foods for an order that was never delivered, the responsibility for refund lies entirely with them.
It is extremely disappointing that a customer has to repeatedly follow up for a refund of an undelivered order. Such handling of customer complaints reflects very poorly on the service standards of the company.
I request immediate resolution of this matter and refund of Rs. 720 to the original payment method without any further delay.
