I met an accident, so i gave ma bike at kln motors in moggapair!!!they took near 1 and half month to ready my bike!!still im not satisfied wid their service, finally now my bike got shut downed!!!please take these as issue and take further action

    I bought pulsar rs 200 with abs on 9-7-15. I gave my bike for first service at KLN service which is located in Mogappair of chennai in Tamil Nadu.The service was the worst.I had a big scratch at my mud guard.i asked the service man for that.he requested me to talk to the manager about the problem.When I called him he is putting all the fault in my side stating that the bike was already scratched.Such an improper response I got from him. Pls take a kind action on him and repair my bike.

      I had given my bike for service last saturday 18/Jul (for which I had to wait for 30mins just waiting for someone to attend to me) and asked them when they will be able to turn it in. They mentioned that it will be delivered to me on Tuesday morning. I was happy to know that and promised to pick it up then. On Monday evening I hadn't received any call or text, so called up to check if it was ready and they mentioned that it will be ready by the Tuesday evening. On Tuesday I had to make multiple calls to check if it was ready yet again. I then received a message that said my bike was ready and that I could come and pick it up. I wrapped up my work at office (12kms from the service centre) earlier than usual and rushed to collect my bike because they close by 7pm. They made me wait for a while, then brought my bike and I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THAT THEY HADN'T TOUCHED IT EVEN!!! They then promised to service my bike the first thing on wednesday morning. Since I knew that I couldn't leave work as early as 6pm today, I called them up to check if they had started with my bike this morning and if I will get it by noon because if that's the case, I was going to take half a day off so I can collect my bike and then go to office. THEY SAID "YES". I hence, called up my manager and told that I will reach a little after noon. YET AGAIN I receive no call or text by noon and I am forced to call them to find out. The lady on the phone AGAIN promises to call back after hearing the job card number and DOESN'T CALL! On following up, she says that the bike will be ready by 3pm. I have a meeting at 3pm in my office and I DON'T WANT TO TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH MY BIKE ANYMORE.

      Dear Sir/Madam, I had issued a letter of complaint on the Bajaj website earlier this morning. However, I would like to withdraw the same since I have received my bike in good shape post service. Also, It was brought to my notice that the people who were at the customer care desk had failed to communicate that my bike was ready for delivery even after I had sought that by calling them myself. Through my conversation with the officials there, I understand that the % of market share that Bajaj owns in our cities is quite high and as a result, the number of vehicles that ought to be serviced on a regular basis is high as well. This however, is not matched with adequate skilled labour to support on-time delivery thereby causing inadvertent delays and absence of express service procedures. It would be of great help if you could recruit and retain a good number of technicians to match the demand and re-institute a respectful customer care that secures appointments & shares honest timelines with us to avoid any confusion in the future. Appreciate the prompt effort to address my grievance at the earliest. Looking forward to a lasting association. Thank you. Much Regards, - Ram

        Am Arun Kumar from pattabiram ( ph no: [protected]) VEHICLE NO (TN20 CW 2482). I got new car in my mother name (MRS. NIRMALA DEVI) tavera LS-9 silver colour on (07.02.2013) last three months back at (EKATUTHANGAL BRANCH) . when I getting the car they told me that after 3months u will get Rs 30,000 from government. The person’s the dealer who told me about this information their name and contact no is (MR. RIYAZ, CONTACT NO – [protected]). And (MR. MEIYAPPAN, CONTACT NO- [protected]). And also the branch manager. This two person gave me guarantee that confirm u wil get the money after 3months. And last month I asked this two persons they told me that after 100days only u wil get the money. And now 110 days gone but now I asked them they are telling me that there is no schemes are not allotted for your vehicle then why they should tell me like this and then why they want cheat like this to run their business. If they have any target to achieve let them go in a good way. Even branch manager also gave have told me I asked them to write in one white sheet and to give me but they told me u wil get the cheque in your name only so we can’t cheat u sir ( sir please i[censored] want to check them means tel them that you r my relatives and ask them you will get the truth. please kindly do the needful for me

          My car is in service centre for past 12 days. Due to negligence of service centre it is in worst condition.

          Find below the details.

          Poor response for below complaint from KLN and No Action taken by GM.

          It seems GM is happy to loose their market in chennai with KLN Motors in their network.

          Dear Team,


          I did not get any call from KLN Ambattur service manager to address the service issue.


          Since the vehicle delivered on 3rd JAN 2012 without fixing the issues reported, I again given it for service on 9th Jan at KLN Motors Ekattutangal service centre. Only minor issues reported.


          1) Rattling noise while driving. (due to loose speaker screw)
          2) Power window problem. Slow Up/Down.

          Due to negligence during service the engineer drained my car's battery and currently it is having starting trouble and the Battery is with service team.


          Currently the vehicle is not in driving condition and I already lost 12 Days in service.


          Request you to check the service record of vehicle TN xx YYzzzz since December 27th and help me in getting my car back in good condition.


          Any further delay from service center is unacceptable, hope you understand the frustration of vehicle being ruined in the name of service by an authorized dealer.

          I purchased this vehicle from KLN motors, Chennai in 2012 January.

          When I had given my vehicle for 6 months service at KLN service centre
          Ekattutangal, my car's bonnet is dented and i have been told that it
          is happned while placing tools and the same will be corrected during
          my next service.

          They also told me that my vehicle need to be sent to their Ambattur
          service centre since they donot have body shop in Ekattutangal.

          Recently I had given my vehicle for service in KLN motors, Ambattur
          service station
          for 1 year service maintanence and for correcting the dent made during
          previous service.

          Vehicle sent to Ambattur service station on 27th December 2012. Prior
          to sending the vehicle service appointment taken.

          After huge delay of 7 Days. Service engineer came yesterday to deliver
          my vehicle back. While inspecting the painting work done on bonnet my
          heart broken!!!!

          The painting is done on top of sand, dust particles and hair. Lot of
          embossed patterns are visible in the painte surface.

          I did not take my vehicle back and asked the service engineer to correct it.

          KLN representative attended my vehicle :- Sreekumar ([protected])

          I request GM India to take serious action and get my vehicle back with
          decent paint finish on my bonnet.

          This issue will surely leave a scar in the heart which chose GM with
          lot of hope. I am yet to get my vehicle which already spent 8 days in
          service center and left me struggle for my daily transportation needs.

            Dear Sir,


            I purchased a Chevrolet Spark car from KLN Motors – Chennai bearing registration number TN 02 AE 6170(Engine No.: B10S1022950KC2 and Chassis No.: MA6MF48IP8HE25622 , in May 2008 and ever since then I’ve maintained my car only with KLN Motors which history can well be verified with the database of KLN Motors-Ambattur workshop @ Chennai.

            At the outset commencing my first service ever-since my purchase I’ve been having problems repeatedly time and again, and never was once the snags rectified at one visit. As of today I hold an undisputed record of 34 recorded visits and of-course quiet some unrecorded visits too. Every time I send the car for service it is mandatory that I send the car time and again for the same fault atleast a couple or more times. Furthermore disgusting fact is that I’m paying exorbitant bills every time . A new car should always record a “zero maintenance” excepting for accidents and regular oil services. On the 1stof August ’12, I had personally called General Motors @ Delhi and complained about the atrocious coordination of service @ KLN Motors-Ambattur @ Chennai, which was instantaneously pursued but worsened the state of affairs and hence I’m constrained to put my plea in writing.

            Not contradicting anything of the above said facts and in addition “the treatment mooted to the customers at KLN Motors-Ambattur, Chennai IS ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL, IMPERTINENT, HORRID & CONDEMNABLE .

            And now it’s just four days since I had taken delivery of the vehicle, the snags are still persisting – a whistling sound when the vehicle is driven at a speed of 60 kms and above which I presume they are not able to locate and identify the technical hitch. A most simple adjustment of the head lights and fog lights could also not been done ever since the first service from the time when the car was purchased.

            On my preceding visit to this my car suffered a minor accident and had sought the service of KLN Motors – Ambattur, Chennai. After the service- while taking delivery of the vehicle, I had asked for the details of the repairs carried out. The technical person one Mr. Francis factually proved beyond suspicion his innocence of the repairs carried out but started informing that “the rear wheel bearings were changed – then after he said - sorry the front wheel bearings were changed and finally we were made to agree mutually that the FRONT LEFT wheel bearing was changed”. I was given totally contradicting statements on which I still have doubts as to what and whether such repairs were done and a transparent scenario succeeded on that episode.

            It’s predominantly a customary system that, as and when a vehicle arrives to the service center - a test drive is done by the mechanic and the owner is apprised of the snags – an approximately anticipated cost of repairs and the ultimate probable time of delivery. Never once ever since my purchase had I been consulted and all decisions were prejudiced, unilateral and unconventional, taken to their own whims and fancies.

            my vehicle was sent to KLN motors Ambattur garage three times earlier - apart from the present visit for the same repeated snags time and again. And on all those visits your company has claimed to have repaired and rectified all of them with hefty bills of Rs.15,272/- ( in excess of the insurance claim of Rs.19,500/-), Rs.22,254/-and lastly 1030/- they have changed the compressor oil, you have replaced the core evaporator, all part and parcel of the AC. It is ridiculous to mark that at that instance also you were not able to identify or spot the compressor failure which you assert now. I have paid all those bills unpretentiously trusting that them were genuine and would have done their job transparently. Now since they have proved their ignorance, that the service works carried were at your own unilateral and farce discretion, pretending and misleading to have identified and rectified the actual problem and now they demand

            Front Suspension strut - Rs.3500/-
            Lower Arm - Rs.2000/-
            A/C, Compressure -Rs.18300/-
            Dicky Shocks -Rs. 600/-
            Rear Shocks - Rs.2000/-
            A/C Gas - Rs.1500
            ** Labour charges will be separate.

            Mr. Harry Peter John (AGM works- Ambattur) had sent a mail stating since the car is not under warranty we will not be able to extend the warranty which was irrelevant to the entire episode. Now my plea is why should i pay the bill for the same persisting snag, and why it was not identified and rectified earlier when i paid my previous hefty bills.

            Please look into the matter and resolve the issue at the earliest.

              Hi,
              My vehicle is Chevy Aveo 1.6LT model 2007 at 20000 km bearing with Reg no

              TN01AE6382.

              my vehicle have been serviced as regular service 3 months back with KLN motors,

              Ambattur, Chennai.

              First time: Recently I found vehicle brakes got jammed and not running. I called

              service personal for repair and given some other minor issues also to rectify.

              They have charges aroung 4000 rupees and deliver the vehicle by saying its now in

              good condition.

              Second Time: Next day I found huge vibration and noise in the car and unable to

              move. This was the new problem raised after service and never faced before. once

              again I have given for repair...and they told me that issue is in Ignition coil

              and replaced same. they have charged Rs.4800 this time.

              Third Time: When drive back my home after their assurance of quality service, I

              found Cabin light and other sensors like door beep are not working. frustrated by

              ignorance service by KLN and took back my vehicle for rectification.

              fourth Time: After 2 days of my drive....I am experiencing new and never

              experienced problems like vibration in steering column and gear shift, vehicle

              balance. Very low mileage with AC on. Low power wth AC on etc. I dont have any

              hope on KLN motors service and i dont think service persons are skillful.

              I am scared to give my vehicle for repair and i dont know what kind of new

              problems will raise once again.

              Apart from these issue, works manager Mr. Anandaraj is unable to speak either

              english or hindi. No ontime delivery and pick-up. No response when i call them for

              status.
              I have given my vehicle with full tank petrol and unbelievably half tank emptied after repair and there is no response for my question also.

              I am looking for proper justice for humiliation created by KLN motors service,

              Ambattur, Chennai.

                Respected Sir,

                I had Worked in the M/S – KLN Motors Agencies (P) Ltd for last 2 years ( 03.09.2007 to 01.10.2009). I was Relived from the service on 01.10.2009. My PF was Claimed on 18.01.2010 but I went to PF Office claim my PF he was told that PF Form as been declined.

                PF Office has rejected the form 19 and send back to the M/S – KLN Motors Agencies (P) Ltd. I asked the HR (Ms. Shanthi) she gave me un reasonable Answer I am in another Work, No Assistants, & saying she didn’t received any one form 19 from the PF Office. But the HR Assistant agreed they had received the form 19 , for every employee they are doing the same receiving the form tearing and put in the dustbin.

                As a employee I need justice.

                Kindly look into this problem and help me to claim my PF Amount as Soon as Possible.

                  am an owner of Chevelot Spark bought in year 2008, I have serious issues with KLN Motors were, the service is to termed as pathetic. I had given the car for service on 10 th March 2010 and the person who picked up the vechile ha conifrmed that the vechile will be delivered around 5:00 PM, but till 7:00 there was no information, I started calling them and all the landline numbers kept on ringing unanswered. I got the mobile two mobile numbers and spoked to Mr Ratnakumar , Manager , who had informed that the vehicle is still there and once the driver who has gone for drop will come back will deliver the vehicle today itself. Finally the vehicle was delivered by 8:30. The next day when I started the vehicle I noticed that there was some defect in MAL Function Indicator Lamp was glowing. The vehicle serviced and brought back just after service having these kind on issues means that the same is not checked properly before being sent out of workshop. I am terribly upset with this kind of attention on the vechile. Due to the issue I had to hire a taxi urgently to drop my friend @ Railwaystation. I will surely do rethink before calling/ referring KLN motors for any sort of service. This is the second bad experience with them.

                        I had given my Chev Spark for second service on Saturday (Oct 3, 09), with specific complaints of air reduction in the rear tyre on the left side of the car and door rattling. I was charged Rs. 100 for car pick-up and drop. Although the car was delivered on the same day stating on the phone that all the problems had been addressed, I noted on Monday morning (Oct 5) that the specific complaints of air seepage and door rattling had not been addressed. The car was not moved between Sat to Mon at all. When I contacted the Ekkaduthangal service center to understand why these issues had not been addressed, they agreed to re-check the problems on Wednesday (Oct 7). The technician called up to state that the tyre had a puncture which was to be fixed outside the service center and Rs. 100 would be charged for it. This is ridiculous. My issue is not of money but of principle. Air seepage may mean amongst others that there is a puncture. Why was this not addressed on Sat itself before dropping the car back stating all was done? Now, I had to incur additional petrol cost for sending the car back to the service center. I think these guys in that Ekkaduthangal service center have no clue about what they need to check and how to arrest issues in cars. All in all, pathetic service.

                        Im dhilipkumar from chennai, i have a commercial indigo ls. i will take to first service on kln motors
                        very very very worst services they dont attented any complaints just clean manually not a water wash, they are very ridiculos, why they get the services stations please closed out.
                        I gave a spark on 14th May 2012 at 11 AM at KLN Ambattur branch, but they have not returned it to date i.e 16/05/2012. Neither is there any telephone or response from them regarding the progress. each time I have to phone. The AGM and the service engineer just cut off the phone. Kindly look into the matter urgently as I am a doctor and i cant do without a vehicle. I had given them an alternative to send the vehicle back so that I can service it outside, but they have not reponded to it also.

                        This is in continuation with my previous post. I had given my spark on the 14th may ar KLN Motors ambatur on 14/05/2012, with the complaint that the engine was getting heated and A/C was not cooling. Till now that is 17/05/2012, i.e. after 4 days they have not repaired it and asking for more time that also after repeated phone calls to the company. The AGM there just cuts off the phone when you call him. I think their service engineers, their AGM, the people at the reception are totally irresponsible. They said some leak was there in the A/C which they have rectified, now after 4 days they say some electric coil is gone which will require 5000 and odd rupees. They have already told me that Rs. 15000 for some work that they have done They have a very poor service and interested in only swindling money from the consumer. Kindly look into the matter.

                        Worst Experience . I purchased a Sail Car Hatch Back from KLN Ekkaduthangal Show room on 20th March'2014. Prior to this I had Beat - LS - Diesal. I am extremely happy with Beat . On 10th March I received a Business SMS from KLN offering Exchange Prog. for old Chev. Cars and the terms were good . Hence I visited them immediately. Recepeption was good . I gone through all latest 2014 models. At that time they said some 2013 models were also available and that will cost Rs.10, 000/= less. Since I am from Automobile Industry ( TVS - Lucas TVS &amp; Brakes India ) I asked them to give the Pre Despatch Inspection Date ( PDI ) of the Car they want to sell to me . Without refering records immediately they said Dec'2013. Hence instead Beat I opted to purchase Sail H.B as per their recommendation and paid the difference amount . On 20th March late evening the vehicle was delivered and to my surprise the PDI date was 27.08.13., ie the vehicle was lying idle in the Yard for seven Months and the vehicle was highly dusty. When I pointed out this to them they said simply "SORRY SIR" . They Charged Rs.20, 757 towards Insurance whereas Insurance Cover note stated it is Rs.14, 455. They have charged extra amount of Rs.6, 302. When I got the Reg. Certificate again I was shocked . In that the Mfg.Date was mentioned as April'2013 . That is car is ONE Year Old when it was delivered to me. Here also for Road Life Tax they have collected Rs.65, 648 whereas the RC showed the remittance as Rs.46, 713 . Excess amount collected Rs.18, 935.On total Rs.6, 302 + Rs.18, 935 = Rs25, 237/= . For ONE YEAR OLD Car they have collected 2014 March NEW Car Price. It is very bad. When I questioned them, till date no reply from . Since the vehicle was one year old I noted lots of malfunctioning in the vehicle. This also not attended to my full satisfaction. For fixing DVD &amp; Moniter they have collected Rs.19, 600 and till date not fixed . I have visited them more than 6 times and no proper response. I advised them to refund the DVD &amp; Moniter amount and they agreed to do so on 19th May. Hence I arranged to put the same out side and fixed it yesterday (21) . When I contacted on 19th they said on 22nd . When I Contacted today (22nd) their Manager Mr.Gopal Mob.No:[protected] sent the following Msg: "MD is not available.He is out of Station .So cannot sign in cheque. He comes back next month 15th only. So.pls ensure you call to my Manager. Sorry for the inconvenience ". It irks me very much. In a big organisation no MD will sign. Only finance Head will sign. This appears like harressing me. My impression -- After collecting the money and pushing the vehicle out they won't bother about the Customer . They dont no the value of a customer.

                          I have given my vehicle for first free service at KLN MOTORS ekkatuthangal workshop, They done very good service and lots of tips given for maintaining the vehicle. I am realy happy with the way they treated me. I will recomend service at KLN ekkatuthangal to my friends and relatives. My vehicle number TN22BC4566.

                          Unfortunately I had a very bitter experience with the service I had with the same workshop.

                          The vehicle;s Headlight doom was broken internally, this was some thing happened when the vehicle was on workshop for service.At first while taking the delivery, I have spotted a scratch and when I enquired about them they side, it would have happened earlier itself. (As per the complaint sheet the vehicle is inspected for the damages and be noted ).And on further checking I found that doom was broken from inside.At first they admitted that some thing would have happened from their side.But after discussing internally for 10min they have come back saying that this would have happened earlier it self and washed their hands .They were all together to argue with me.

                          KLN Motors has very bad customer care.. They promise lot of things to customer but fail to do. Once the vehicle is delivered you cant claim for any outstanding.


                          Chevrolet is a very good company has given the agency to a very bad Dealer.I also heard lot of complaints from other customers too.

                          If you want to but Chevy product in chennai, better go to Sundaram motors.

                          there was an unattended noise from the engine, on many service i have raised the complaints.
                          This was my 20000 km service and it was finally arrested.
                          Good job done by Mr. Nazer who personally intracts well and understand our complaints and need.
                          I am sure he is an assert to KLN Motors.

                          Fraud is happening with support of Sales executives in KLN motors to cheat the customers. False receipts are being prepared by the sale executives for the purpose of getting loans from the banks and take the proper discounts allowable to the buyers. Different kinds of tax invoces are prepared to cheat the customers. Such things are going to black list KLN motors very soon. Thus buyers should be alert to avoid such fruad network with KLN motors. Only investigations will review how many such big frauds are happening. Buyers are on the way to media to reveal the problems what they are facing as the losses exceeding laks of rupees.

                            I had been one of those unfortunate customers who had chosen KLN motors to service my almost new Optra magnum 2.0 TDCI. The Car was due for a scheduled service and had clocked 6750Km. The car was dealt with by a service adviser Mr.Koteeswaran who is supervised by the works manager Mr. Sadasivam.I had some problems with the rear suspension which I had mentioned in the service sheet. KLN motors (Ambattur) had the car from(1st April 2009) for two full days and had returned the car to me on 3rd April 2009.They had changed the rear shock absorber. they also had changed the A/C control circuit, A/C thermostat, and the fog lamp relay. these parts were changed under a standing bulletin by GM. the problem was the thermostat that was reinstalled was not done properly. My car started to overheat and the A/C was malfunctioning.The car had its rear seatbelt harness disconnected and had some tools which belonged to KLN in the cabin floor ! I took the car back to the KLN work shop on the 4th April 2009. I was not able to enter the workshop/gate because they were filling water! I waited for about 35 minutes. I had during that time 'located' Mr.Koteeswaran and had mentioned these problems with my car.Amazingly, he disowned the problems and claimed that I had dismantled the rear seat belts...! I had to locate the works manager and had to explain to him that there was certain work that was carried out with the rear suspension, and suddenly the service adviser remembered.They started the work right on the road..! (GM service plus). I had given them "their" tools which they accepted with great gratitude. The A/C was 'certified' to be alright by one small kid named Riyas (at least that was what he was called). I took the car back to them on the 6th April again. (5th being a Sunday and they claimed that they do not work on Sundays). The car was unusable in the summer. It became like an oven with the A/C controls running in full blast. they had the car for the full day and told me that the problem was with the A/C blower resistor and that they need to get that from GMI, Halol, Gujarat and that would take 10 to 15 days! I took the car again on the 7th April 2009 to Sundaram Motors, Chennai who identified the problem to be with the faulty installation of the A/C thermostat.The thermostat which was replaced under a bulletin by GMI has not been fixed properly and the sensor was way into the cooling coil rendering it partially ineffective. This had lead to excessive sweating of the cooling coil and the condensation. The cooling coil was not able to transfer the coolness into the cabin effectively since the badly installed thermostat was cutting off the A/C unit prematurely.It was rectified in a jiffy while I was waiting with my son in an exclusive customer lounge. This is a complaint very specifically on KLN motors a GM dealer directed to GM. GM has some very good products in the market and had caught the attention of the market by a radical after sales service plan and an effective roadmap to implement it. I am sure that GM had done all the needed processes and procedures before evaluating an entity to represent their global market image. Neverthless, with KLN motors they have failed miserably. There is substandard visible every where. Right from their sales team(We were literally driven to frustration while we approached them to buy the aforementioned car it was subsequently bought from another dealer) to their servicing. The untrained personnel and the practices followed needs to be audited by GM. It is a ticking time-bomb here in Chennai.The customers in Chennai though conservative are very sensitive to these kind of issues.                               Recently I left my car for service at KLN motors(Ekkattuthangal) for engine overheating issue. My car was taken care by Sajeesh (or Satish not sure about the name) and he analyzed the car and reported the issue is due to the thermostat valve which is malfunctioning. He also suggested to replace thermostat and V-belt and V-belt tension er, T-belt and T-belt tension er and other minor components for better performance of the car. So I agreed to replace all the components and the bill was around Rs 34000. He also told me that the engine over heating issue is fixed however they where not able to check the functionality of the A/C since there was no gas in the compressor and they had no facility to fill gas. He had also told me the auxiliary fan is almost worn out and needs to be replaced soon(may be after 5000 kms). After taking the car from them filled up the gas in the compressor after a week or two to check the functionality of the A/C and the engine started the over heat again. So when asked about the issue they said the fan should be the problem since it was already worn out. So once again left my car for service with them for fan replacement. This time they have changed the fan and the fuel float valve since it was also not working and the bill was around Rs 10000. Once the replacement is done they said they took it for test drive where the over heating issue was not there with A/C on. But they met with an accident unfortunately due to which the rear bumper of the car was damaged. They also said they will replace it for free since it was damaged during test drive by their driver. So the next day they took my car to Ambattur service station from Ekkattuthangal since the body workshop is only available at Ambattur facility. At that point also my car was not over heating they said and issue was completely fixed. Also due to this accident already the delivery of my car was delayed by a week. Now they brought back the car from the Ambattur service station to Ekkattuthangal and they tested the car for the final time and they said they purposely tried to increase the temperature of the car to check whether the issue repeats or not and at that point car once again over heated. So this time they checked the radiator and found that there is a crack on top of the radiator and they are asking me to pay for radiator replacement to get the issue fixed. I dont want to pay and get the radiator replaced since at first point they should have checked the radiator when I told them my car is overheating. Instead they tried to fix my car through Trial and Error method and already they have charged me Rs 45000 for part replacement and now once again they are asking around Rs 10000 for radiator replacement. If they would identified the issue with the car the expense would have not crossed max of Rs 30000. Because of their carelessness I have already paid Rs 15000 extra and now once again they are asking for Rs 10000 for radiator replacement. Is this a way an authorized dealer of the company will repair a car. When I asked them how this damage might have happened they say it is wear and tear issue caused due to overheat and they cant replace it for free. My point is if the overheating issue was completely fixed after the fan was replaced how the radiator got cracked in a normal condition. They say that the car was not overheating and the can run for 35 kms without coolant in the radiator and there is no chance of the radiator to get cracked since they drove only 13 kms(Ambattur - Ekkattuthangal) and they also dint find any crack or anything wrong with the radiator when we left the car for service. So I suspect that someone in Ambattur service station has changed my radiator from a car in which the radiator was cracked already. So please take necessary action to get the issue resolved soon without paying for the radiator replacement.

                              first of all i want to know how old is ur car and what model. u shd have given service at sundaram motors. eventhough they too seem to b costly. they have better engineers to solve a problem.

                              i[censored]r car was bought recently then u shd have tried to get back the money from insurance...thats what insurance companies are for

                              last piece of advice... buy a honda or toyota...ur car will always run fine(but i too own a chevrolet aveo and honda civic)the aveo suspension sucks to the core. i drive my cars rashly. aveo makes lot of noise on bad roads.
                              This KLN motors have one of the worst employees.I too had a bad experience (yesterday-i.e., 24/01/09)when Mr.Sujeesh or sathis I am not sure of his name said that I need to bring a coupon along with my Spark Car (10000kms) for free check -up.None of the employees directed me to bring any coupon nor i had any.Water wash was very bad that it was with same dirt on my car.I also noticed today(25/01/09) that A/C Pane has been broken by them while cleaning as I alone drive the car.I took my car all the way from tambaram to ekkattuthangal to invite these problems.
                              Hey Avinassh, welcome to the club. The standards that are maintained by the KLN motors need to be audited by GM. Else, they have a ticking time-bomb here in Chennai.The attitude and the expertise of the personnel and the quality standards needs a clear revisit.They are no where near to even the ordinary garage. When I see these people wearing GM logo on their lapels and carry GM embossed cards its like GM is mocking at itself. Spending huge amount of money and effort to establish the brand in one hand and draining it out through dealers like KLN motors. Follow this link...you would find a huge lesson on the state of affairs with respect to after-sales service and the effect that it has on the company and the consumers in India...its sure gripping

                              This is Vijaya Ragavan.. I owned a Spark Vehicle (TN02AA1563) and I recently left my car for service at KLN MOTORS (Ekkattuthangal).. and my vehicle was taken care by Mr. Sareesh.. When i get back my car it was perfect.. And i don find any problem in my Car as stated by others..
                              I agree that their Service is the best one..
                              I too had very bad experience with KLN. Couple of weeks back I met with an accident, I left the vehicle TN-09 AS2739 (TATA INDICA) at KLN ekkaduthangal. There was not standard procedure of taking the inventory, when I left the vehicle there; they asked me to leave the vehicle with RC book original & insurance policy original. I was shocked, then after I insisted one guy came and took the inventory mentioning no tool kit, no jack, no stepny and no speaker, when I asked he said nothing to worry, we do like this only. I forced him to correct the same. I don’t know its a systemic issue with KLN or issue with the people working there. they were too negligent. How can this happen in a authorized service station. The people’s attitude was worst, they are feeling that they are doing some favor to me. Its no way better than the road side work shop.

                              They promised to deliver in a week’s time. Since I was in Bangalore it was very difficult to know the exact status from them. Finally they delivered the vehicle on Oct10th, During that Time i noticed that they burned the front passenger seat (~10mm length) and found the front fender damaged. The damage might have happened during the door replacement, it was exactly above the door hinge area. When I was highlighting these issues they were getting irritated and forcing me to accept as it is. And they didn’t even removed the tape from the wind shield fixing area. The FM receiver was hanging, not fixed. The rubber beading was also hanging at the end, not fixed properly leading to water ingress inside the car. I was forced to take the vehicle delivery because i was staying in bangalore, no responsible person was available to attend my issue. I was interacting with person named Ramesh, but he was not available during that time. No one was taking the responsibility, they way they treated me was worst.

                              Height of all I realized that they took my EXIDE battery and replaced with old AMARON battery, I realized this once I reached Bangalore. I really don’t know what to do after I realized that the battery was taken.

                              Another thing is they never told the estimate of bill till I pay the same. I was tracking the vehicle delivery & bill with Vadivelu and Sundaraman (Ambattur) & Ramesh Ekkaduthankal. But no use.

                              Please don’t go to KLN, it doesn’t look like a professional service station. They cheat the customer.

                              Anyway I’m try to put this across TATA motors. Let me see.
