Konkan Railway — Bed sheet, pillow and and blanket not provided to 2nd AC RAC ticket in Konkan Kanya Express | |||
I was travelling with my family on 24.05.2015 by 10112 Konkan Kanya Express from Ratnagiri to CST in night. I booked my tickets in class 2A on the opening date of reservation and I got wailtlisted ticket. On final preparation of chart on date of journery I was allotted 2 seats in HA1 - 2 and 17 and 3 tickets was RAC in coach A1- 37 & 37. and A1-39. (PNR [protected]). So we five people had to accomodate ourselves in 3.5 seats. I asked for Bed Sheet, pillow and blanket for RAC seats, but the attendant did not provide us saying that he does not have extra after distributing all for confirmed seats. I argued that RAC passengers also paid full fare and get half seats which is very unfair, still at least you provide us one one pillow so that 2 people can sleep on one seat. But we were not provided the same. Even talking to TC did not yield any results. Ultimately we had to pass sleepless night. This is totally unfair that even after charging full money for RAC, Railway does not provide basic thing the RAC passengers. Was this information helpful? | |||
