I urgently needed a check book however i couldn't do that due to not having my current address updated on the account. I submitted my address change request on 12-jul-2016 12:48:26 pm and i was informed that it would take four days to update the records which i understand. However, i was not provided a reference number for the application thinking that a notification would be sent through email or sms which did not happen. I called the customer care number to confirm if my request is submitted and found that my phone banking is also blocked. I submitted the request for phone number update as well earlier. However, the representative did not confirm if the request is submitted or not and asked me to contact through registered mobile number which i could not due to mobile number update request was still pending. I had to go back to the branch in sec 18, noida to check the status of my application and was informed that it was not submitted and i asked him submit it then. He said it's submitted for which he gave me reference number however i could not verify if it's done or not actually as i still did not the acknowledgment through sms or email. I tried to call the customer care number to see if it's submitted and they said they could not confirm it if i am not calling from the registered number as my phone banking was blocked. I asked him to connect me with his supervisor and my call was disconnected after putting on hold. I tried to call back and there was some technical issue i believe i was disconnected four times in a row if it was not intentional which i don't feel happened. I was finally connected to one of the representative who was willing to help however could not give any information of the account due to phone banking being blocked however i was not asking any account information and just wanted to confirm officially if my request is submitted or not so that i would not have to come back again to the branch to find that it's still not submitted. I asked to stay on call while i speak to the manager in the branch and connect him to give the authority to confirm the status. I was asked to wait as the bank manager was not available. The representative was very patient on the call and said i would hold this call for you as long as it takes to connect with the manager. After several minutes of waiting when i did not get the manager then the security guard standing next to me asked me check with a lady sitting next to the queue counter. She listened to me and spoke to the representative on the call. I am not sure what conversation happened between them which was again not transparent and i was then asked check with another person in the bank to confirm the status which again was the same person i was speaking with before. She said 'abhi to confirm kiya'. I said i don't the acknowledgement in the form of sms or email. She said 'ho jayega'. I had no option left than believing them without any official confirmation. I received an email that my request for address change is processed. I was finally happy to see that this has processed. So, i called the customer care to apply for check book and he asked me a few things to verify however he said that the pin code i said is not matching with the database which is when i found out that my pin code was incorrectly updated. I asked to submit the request for check book as i urgently need it. He said, he would need to update the pin code first. I asked him to update it then so he said i would raise the request and it would take four working days to update. What the hell/again. I again had not choice other than waiting for the pin code to be updated first. Today, i received the message that pin code is updated now however when further checked my complete address just be sure that everything is correct this time, i found that they have missed to mention phase 3 in my address. They have mentioned 'mayur vihar' only when it was supposed to be mayur vihar phase 3'. I have submitted another request now to update my address which i am again informed would take 4 working days. Still waiting for my check book to be received... I urgently need money and could not get my loan approved due to not having the check book. I request you to approve my loan request with kotak only as i have all the required documents you would need.
