On issuing credit card, I was informed that there is no annual charge on the card but i received information in May statement of my bank acount that Rs 1205 auto debited from my account, thogh in April I have talked to customer care personal about the credit card charges, they informed that we are reversing late fees charges but the annual charges have to be paid and on cancellation of card that will be reimbursed. I believed them that the late fees charges are waived but to utter surprise my next month account statement show auto-debit of rs 1205 without authorization, further I requested customer care to pl close the credit card and the statement of credit card is showing reversal of annual charges of rs 416 which till date is not reflected in my saving account statement.
All misleading information provided by customer care they did not inform that amount of rs 1205 has been auto-debited from my saving account instead told me that late charges being reversed in the month of April and I get assured. surprisingly this month seeing the saving bank account statement after recovering from covid I find out how the customer care misinformed me and even annual fees charges are not reversed to date despite being shown in the credit card statement. on-again contacting customer care no satisfactory response given.
