    My account balance shows amount deducted rs 531 for non maintenance on aug17 and again rs 531 for non maintenance on sep2017

    What kind of a bank is kotak mahindra, that they charge deductions wrongfully??? That too without any prior intimation

    Is this not some kind of a scam going on???
    Please refund my hard earned money back immediately or else i will have to close my account and say good bye to kotak forever.

      Hi,

      My name is aashish arora.
      My dad "inder arora" took loan in 2008 and the loan got settled in "2012" from citifinancial.

      In 2014 citifinancial acquired by kotak bank.

      After 5 years of settlement my dad getting calls to pay the loan but he already paid it.

      I dont know what happened to kotak bank... To make me embarrass kotak mahindra bank calling my facebook friends and telling a story and asking some of my facebook friends that "inder arora" father of "aashish arora" is a friend with you?

      If they say yes... They tell them... That aashish arora phone number is not connecting and they gave your number for alternative number during taking loan.

      First of all i didnt take the loan... My dad did... Second how can them harass me by calling facebook friends and telling them that my dad didnt pay the loan.

      My literally so embarrased right now friends from facebook calling me that how can i give their number.

      I mean what kind of way it is to get the money... Am really in depression that what would be people thinking of me that i am some kind of scam?

      I didnt do anything i dont even knew about the loan back then i was even 17 that time and the thing is its not about money how can they call my friend and tell a lie.

      May be i need to delete my facebook account or what... I dont want these guys to bother my facebook friends unnecessarily... Please let me know what should i do?

      If they are doing with me they would doing with other person also. This should be stop

      Hi,

      First of all try to understand the fact that i am not liable of single penny to you guys.
      And i dont care whom did not paid the loan whom already did.

      Because of you guys i had to deactivate my facebook account now i am worried if i re-activate the account my friends will start getting calls again from you guys.You dont even have any idea how much embarrassment i have faced because of this wrongful act.

      If i or my friend get any call from people refering kotak mahindra bank loan department i will take a legal action.

      This is really frustrating...you guys have done to me...dont do to others.

        I am sumaiya. I am using kotak mahindra bank as the salary account bank.
        Yesterday, i got salary on morning after that, evening when i am checking my account it is showing like 250 rupees reduction without any transaction details.
        It is not only happened with me my colleague also face the problem on last month. My colleague got 1300 rupees reduction without valuable reason. We raise complain in the last month also but we did not got any reply from the bank side.
        On my transaction details is not showing the clear details about the balance reduction.

        It showed like reason of balance reduction closing balance 250.
        I want the clear reason and reduction.
        Otherwise, i am going to close the kotak mahindra bank account.
        Not only me, my colleague and other members also going to close the salary account.
        If we would not get refund, we will going to raise complain with our company manager to change/replays with the salary account kotak mahindra bank with any other bank.

          I have been trying to connect customer care from last 5 days but in no vain as your system keeps on asking to press xxx numbers but still unable to connect customer care in spite of being charged on every call and that too for very long period which is very frustrating. I wanted to resolve the issue of being charged for non maintenance of a/c. I dont know how to go for it as i m always unable to connect your so called customer service centre.

            regarding annual fee on debit card rs.885

            While taking the account I got an update from your executive that there wont be any charges were present on the bank account and debit cards.
            I don't know why you are trying to deduct now.
            If this goes on and I wont get any reimbursement for the money which was deducted, I will cancel my kotak bank account.

              I have opened account of 811 which is zero balance account and one of rep came and verified aadhar and all then started. I have 1000 rs. I requested for cheque but not debit card but they deducted money for debit card also. Now they started deducting low balance as balance is zero as of now. They are cheating customers. Advertising zero balance account is giving fake info.

                  Please note, on 1st november, i tried to transfer 600rs to another acc using kotak mahindra bank mobile application but transfer has failed, after that i tried again but same issue i found, main problem is my money has been deducted from my acc, i tried to call customer care but call not connected. I already waiting since last 30 hrs but my money not get refund, so please let me know as soon as possible.

                    My personal loan no is 59657009. I have paid all the emi's and no any over dues but still continue banks is sending legal notice again gain to my home town..

                    Why they are sending the legal notice.???.. I am unable to understand..

                    Last month they have hold 06 times.. Without any mails or call..

                    I have never seen this type of service from any banks..

                      credit card payment calls - annoying

                      Keep on getting calls from kotak mahindra bank and forcing me to pay the credit card bills though the due date was there. Got a call from [protected] this number and guy called satish spoke. He was using filthy language and threating that will move my card to cibil. He was telling that i can't complain about him and when i asked that i need to talk to his manager he told he was the manager and everything over there. Moreover he was asking...

                          I, paruchuri bhaskar the customer of kotak mahindra bank tried to draw rs.3000/- in india 1 atm centre (Location : sydapuram, nellore district, andhra pradesh) on sep'03, 2017 whereas i received only 600/- rupees but the amount of 3000/- got detected.
                          The issue has been forwarded to the bank but i had not been responded properly and also had been instructed to sort out it in any other way so i request you to look in to the issue and sort out it has soon as possible.

                          The Bank customer support team responded and shown to me CCTV footages but it was showing face images only not for the images of money transaction. I am not satisfied with the bank services because they should aware of about the complaint according to that they have to respond. when I was calling to customer care one of the customer care executive told me, "cctv footages came to branch so you can meet nearest branch, they can show cctv footages, so I went to my nearest Kotak Branch ( Kilpauk Branch ) there they checked my details, they said still we didn't received any cctv footages better you can meet at your mother Branch they may show. The next day I went to my mother branch T Nagar, again they checked my details they said still date we didn't received any cctv footages, then infront of them I called to the customer care then another customer care executive told me that sorry sir still we didn't received any cctv footages may be they given false information sorry sir like that he said, that means they didn't aware of nature of complaint. Because of them I am suffering to their services a lot. I am wasting my energy, money and time. This is one of the corporate bank provided very bad services. They don't want customer satisfaction but they need customers money for doing business and getting charges in different ways. ( in my personal life I didn't received credit card even though they collected annual charges, they hold my account, and When I was asking the bank person he said, when you pay the money then we can unhold your account. Finally I paid annual charges without using Credit card. It is worst service Bank. I am requesting you, provide me evidence for the successful transaction.

                            Hopeless bank..
                            Don’t ever invest in this bank.
                            Highly uneducated staff and unfriendly team. The branch of kotak mahindra bank of kanpur, govind nagar branch is a hoax. All staff including manager is not fit for banking and supposedly from non banking background..

                            Kotak don’t have online payment gateway. They do it through idbi bank. For which they take more than 34 hrs for tax payment challans

                              I have used kotak credit card and i failed to pay emi for last 5 months due to financial crysis now i got calls from collection team to settle in 42000 and i was ready to pay 42000 my total outstanding is 66000 but now they are telling to pay me first 8000 then they will settle in 48000 i also paid 7000 last month so i don't want to pay 8000 i want to pay settle amount 42000 and i am asking for settlement letter to guys but they want to me to pay some amount monthly by monthy so please help me to this regards i arranged amount of 42000 to pay and full and final settlement.

                                I am using 811 zero balance account i was told there are no maintenance charges.

                                Now bank hold my 1297 inr due to cash deposite at branches i need to why there was such deduction prior notice to me also representative who collected the documents even bother to tell me about the charges for cash deposite.

                                Also i called on customer and logged the complaint on 28th oct but nothing is been done ref no - sr#1-[protected] which is still pending for resolution.

                                I therfore request you to who so ever is concerned to get the money refunded to the account and share further guideline to proceed ahead.

                                    I have kotak mahindra jifi account since 2014 and i was never charged any hidden charges till may 2016.

                                    Later all of a sudden i see that multiple tbms charges were charged against my account and i did not even received a sms or transaction mail regarding the same. Today i was checking all my transaction history and i was unhappy to see that multiple tbms charges were there in my transaction without my knowledge, even they charged me db card charges around rs.228 /- in 2016 without my knowledge (They never charged me db charges till oct 2016 since 2014) i don't why they stared charging debit card annual charges all of a sudden.

                                    When i spoke with customer care sagar he said that for every transaction made out of kotak mahindra atm i will be charged tbms charge irrespective of financial/non-financial transaction they were charging minimum of rs. 28/- and cheating the customers without sending transaction charge mails or sms.

                                    Also when i asked sagar regarding rbi guidelines about 5 free transaction in any atm he said that he is not aware of it and also said that the jifi account guidelines says that for every atm transaction other than kotak mahindra i will be charge transaction charge. When i checked the latest jifi account details it does not saying anything which was conveyed by sagar from kotak customer care.                                     Below i attached a sample tbms charges which were charged against my account. I was trusting kotak blindly till today and i realised that they are not trustworthy and broke the standard rbi rules. They are definitely cheating customer and are eligible for ipc section 420.
                                    Kotak Mahindra Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
