Kotak Mahindra Bank — Personal loan High Preclosure charges


I took Kotak Mahindra Personal Loan one Year back.My Loan Account number is 59768596. I was told there will be zero preclosure charges after one year. I am a EX staff of KOTAK MAHINDR BANK Now when it try to preclose the Loan, I was Told it is 5% of Principal Amount.
This is a Very unfair and unethical of Kotak to lure people to get Loans saying zero preclosure charges and then asking them to pay a hefty 5% .
This Very bad experience has left me shocked and i am looking for further
coarse of action. I being a ex staff i prefer this high charges to be waiver off. None of the bank will charge for the preclosure charges. it will be 0% every where. I am not doing balance transfer or something like that i am closing the loan by paying cheque. M G road Customer care staff Ms Lohitha doesnt have the basic courtesy to tell that we will look into this when its been told to waive off. I have been writing this to the bank officials to take necessary approvals to waive off the same as its our hard earned money how can they charge so much. We are paying interest for the loan we have availed why this much charges to be lured by the customers.
I am looking for further course of action on this immediately.

    I have opened my salary account in June 2015. My CRN is 95111623. I want to close it as I am no more associated with that company. And kotak executive asked me to go to my home branch for closing account which is not posible for me. Also, I have received an email maintioning that I need to pay Non Maintenance Charges. Please close my account aa soon as possible.

      This is regarding my personal loan (SPLN[protected]. In July, 2016 month their is no sufficient balance in my account so that the reason my emi was bounced. Than I spoken to some customer care person and paid my emi with bouncing charges to MUMBAI KALINA kotak branch. So Later on I am paying manually to Mumbai Kalina brach. After July month I never maintained low balance in my account. But now some customer care people called me and saying that their is a penalty charges in the month of Dec, 2016.

      Could you please confirm me what was the charges and why I need to pay it? and I have the bank statement for proof.

      I am not getting the time to meet somajiguda banch people and get activate my ECS.

      FYI: Starting of taking loan I activated ECS eventhough they are not deducting my emi.

        Worst services i have seen in my life ...i need to generate a new netbanking password but you are blocking my account .u need to put money on my account but you are not unblocking my account and charging me lot in phones call..i will report in forums and update in facebook for your worst services .please i request don't go for this service and don't become fool .

            First of all, Highly disappointed that there is no clear email or phone number to contact regarding the issue.
            Kotak Mahindra is my tenant for ATM at Korattur, Chennai
            Agreement formed with the Bank for rent of Rs.15000(excluding service tax) from 01/04/13 to 31/3/16, and Rs.17250(excluding service tax) from 01/04/2016 to 31/03/2019
            we have reached 2017 but still i haven't received escalation of rent and i am receiving only 15000, 2250 escalation amount not received for 1 year now.
            If Banks don't pay their rent correctly according to the made agreement then who else will?
            Legal notice to follow if not resloved.

              That I am holder of A/C No.[protected], Branch At Saket, E-Block, New Delhi,
              That I beg to say that I was gone to withdrawn balance a sum of Rs. 6, 000/- on dated 07/03/2016 around 6:03 PM at Axis bank ATM, Near Mehrauli Bus Stand New Delhi, but that time when I tried to get a above said amount, I have puted my ATM card in above said Axis ATM, also with ATM Pin, then ATM machine was counted my above said Amount but above said Amount cant withdrawn by above said ATM, and I have get Blank Receipt, even I have told this information to the guard of above said ATM, he said this ATM machines server has already down since morning, after that I had gone another ATM where I withdrawn a sum of Rs. 6, 000/- after some minuts, I have received that my balance Rs. 6, 000/- is already withdrawn from my account, after that I have gone again that Axis ATM, I have told the information to the ATM Guard he said no balance is withdrawn after your gone, that after on dated 8/03/2017 I have gone my Branch at Saket, I was told all information to Mr. Pankaj as a service Manager, he told me, you first register your information to customer care of No [protected], after that You come, so I have given all information to customer care, they said me your balance will come within 10 days, I was wait, but when my above said Deducation balance not come, I have again gone to branch and told Mr. Pankaj, then hel said again for wait, one week, I have waited, but finanly balance not come, I have gone again he said me you give me FIR, I have given, he said again, this prosejor will completed within 4 days, I have waited after that I have again branch Mr. Pankaj said again, that Axis bank said me, that we have trying to get CCTV Photos, I said how much time you will get to done it, he said I don't know, .
              so I want to say, if my work will done within this week, I will go to consumer court, becoz I have tried so many times for own balance, they are not do my work fast, they has taken so many times, ,

                Hi,
                I've downloaded 811 app. App concept is very good but in terms o[censored]se it is pathetic. Full page advert stated that bank account can be opened in 5 mins, i being existing credit card customer could not open even after 8 days of aadhar verification. Wrote an email 7 days back but no response till date.

                When opened the app, it gave 2 options new registration or log in using crn. I used crn as i am credit card. Customer.br...

                Acct no 4040cd00003595 with bajaj finance (India) limited, was purchased by kotak mahindra (Acct no bf3c023368). The pending amt for this acct was paid by me and the acct was finally closed by kotak mahindra in aug 2016.

                The noc was fwd to me by kotak that this acct stands closed with a promise that cibil will also be informed simultaneously so that my cibil report can be accordingly rectified.

                However my cibil report never got rectified and on raising dispute with cibil i was informed that kotak has not intimated the closure of acct.

                On my fwd the noc, issued by kotak, to cibil i was informed that the dispute raised has been sent to kotak and this acct will be closed only once intimation is recd from kotak to cibil against the rised dispute. Cibil has already sent five to six reminders since feb 17 to kotak but in vain.

                I have also spoken to kotak customer care and fwd the request via email for taking necessary action for info the cibil to close this acct. I have been given false promises by kotak that action has been taken but the reply recd from cibil on 07 apr clearly indicates that the acct has not been closed by kotak till date.

                Pl do the needful to avoid unnecessary harassment being caused to me since last three months.

                  I have been attempting to get a NOC from the bank for a personal loan that was closed in Oct -16 and so far haven't been successful. Several emails have been sent with their standard blurb they will get back to me in 5 - 7 days. Is banking a joke or dealing with such bankers an issue. Can this be reported to RBI or consumer forum

                        COMPLAINT LETTER
                        To whom so ever it may concern
                        I ordered a phone from www.amazon.in on date 31st March 2017. Order was confirmed immediately.
                        The payment was done through Kotak Mahindra Credit Card for Rs. 31998.
                        Few hours later I received a message from Amazon that the order is declined as payment has not been received.
                        I made a query with Kotak Mahindra Bank and as per them the payment was done.
                        I again enquired with Amazon regarding the same, as per them they did not receive any payment from the Kotak Mahindra bank.
                        From 31st march till 5th of April I am continuously in touch with Customer care of both Amazon and Kotak Mahindra. Order is still on the stage of Declination. No proper assistance received from any side neither Amazon nor Kotak Mahindra, despite of calling them for hours and hours.
                        On 6th of April I received one more text message from Kotak Mahindra Bank which read as “ We are pleased to inform you that your request of conversion from transaction of Rs 31998 to EMI has been successful.’’ ?
                        What am I paying EMI for when I have nothing in hand? What is Kotak Mahindra pleased for ? For charging EMIs for free ? Insane.
                        This Kind of service is Unbelievable from Kotak Mahindra Bank. I am wasting my time on this
                        small matter since 31st March. This should have been sorted by now being called the most prestigious bank of the nation. Instead of looking into the matter properly you guys have now started my EMIs over this.
                        I am not going to pay a single penny against interest and basic amount 31998/- until I get this matter sorted.
                        It has been 7 days I have no time to invest in this matter when I am not at fault. I am a full time working employee I expect your serious concern regarding this. You have whole teams running for these matters; I don’t get what they do in real. I may have to take this matter to the Consumer forum If I see this matter being dragged more. I have been fooled by both Amazon and Kotak Mahindra. I wont entertain this anymore as a responsible customer.
                        Do take required Action ASAP!!!

                          Its almost 15 days, till now account not activated and did not receive any update from your bank personal.

                          Kindly do needful for account activation or Refund the paid amount at earliest. your bank doesn't have a Email ID & There is no web link to check application status. I am not at all satisfied with your bank service.

                            My company had open a saving salary bank account in kotak bank but now I have changed the company. but my money is getting cut from kotak bank twice in a month i.e -690, -690.Request you to check the issue ASAP. because from last 4 months n more my money has been getting deducted on the name of Chrg: Min Bal Non Maintenance Charges for Dec 16.

                            I have enough balance and from last month I m doing transaction also but this time also money has deducted.

                            I've noticed charges are deducted from my account without my knowledge.Charges deducted in regards to TBMS. I found that it we don't maintain minimum balance on our account but unfortunately I own the minimum balance on my account and I could not understand why they have deducted multiple times in a single month.

                              I have taken car loan in 2015. at that time I was told no foreclosure charges will be there and ROI will be flexible changing time to time what ever is the current ROI. but now both things are not happening and they are cheating me . and executives are telling this is the way we works.so I recommend not to go with kotak bank and kotak prime for car loan. they are cheaters

My Credit Card Amount was Rs 9267.12/- for the period 15.02.2017 to 15.03.2017 due date was 02.04.2017. I have paid the full amount on 01.04.2017 and it was deducted from my savings account (A/c No. [protected]) but the same amount was again automatically debited from my account on 02.04.2017. So, the amount was debited twice from my account. I want Rs. 9267.12/- refund in my account. Please find attached the statement showing deducted twice.

                                    I have made the payment to kotak mahindra bank and cleared all out standing. But bank has not cleared in their system, still it is showing, out standing and since last 5 -6 months, i have been sending the mails to customer support and collection agent to rectify the same but there is no response from any one. I have applied for personal loan which is got rejected due to poor credit score. Iam in very bad situation, hence i need loan to pay my daughter and school, college fees.

                                      I took kotak mahindra personal loan one year back. My loan account number is 59788927. I was told there will be zero preclosure charges after one year.
                                      Now when it try to preclose the loan, i was told it is 5% of principal amount.
                                      This is a very unfair and unethical of kotak to lure people to get loans saying zero preclosure charges and then asking them to pay a hefty 5%.
                                      This very bad experience has left me shocked and i am looking for further
