Kotak Mahindra Bank — inward remittances | |||
My daughter remitted large amount from canada. Her canadian bank has stated in writing, “kotak mahindra (Km)” accepted the wire transfer on 11 october. I enquired with my km relationship manager (Rm) on 11 october, who informed me; he was out of office and will attend to me in short time. Neither my rm nor anybody else from the bank did anything for me that day. I visited the bank on 12 october and i was asked to give the purpose of the remittance. I gave the declaration. I informed the money would be credited by that evening. The money was not credited. I visited the bank again on 15 october and i was made to wait for an hour. The customers who came after me were attended first. Then, i was asked to give fema declaration, which i gave. I was informed again that the money will be credited by that evening, but was not credited. I called the bank now, i. E. 16 october at 10:00 am. The woman gave incoherent answers and on probing, slammed the phone on me. So far, the money has not been credited to my account. I have lost a large sum of money due to this delay. As the sum involved is large and the exchange rates are fluctuating, the bank is trying to take undue advantage of my “inward remittance”. I believe this to be the general practice of all the banks in india not only for foreign remittances, but interbank transactions in india. If the needy person is undergoing medical treatment and if he does not get money on time, it will have bad consequences. I hereby appeal to you to set an upper time limit on all the interbank and foreign transactions. Was this information helpful? | |||

I am Ravikant I am following to Kotaka mahindra bank from 3 month but not giving proper solution I am very frustrate . I want to FIR or complain on Kotak mahindra bank . please suggest me option
