I have a salary accout with kotak bank and recently i have bought an home appliance from capital first emi.in jan 2019, my kotak salary account was not credited with salary as i was on leave without pay and idfc has tried to debit emi from my account twice & both failed.
This month i was debited around 1250 as ecs return charge by kotak. For the first failed transaction kotak had charged me 590 + 15% tax and for the second transaction 750+15% tax. I never got any message from kotak saying i will be charged for every failed ecs transaction. Totally i am lossed 12000/-. I found this when i accidentally checked my account summary which i never usually do.
I never got any information regarding this charges. Being a reputed bank, kotak must try to be transparent, atleast to its customers. They are deducting lots of hidden charges.
I expect a refund from kotak for being a customer for the past 3 years.
