[Resolved]  Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. — false promise and cheated by bank

Below is the entire details regarding this complaint and posting the same mail which is send to the concern department of bank.


This is regarding the Pathetic Services provided by your bank, I had applied for Saving and Trading Account 1 month ago and the guy Rajdeep Mukherjee contacted me and collected all the required documents and informed me that I will be getting the Saving Account, Internet banking, Debit card, credit card and the trading account so I had given Rs. 20000/- cheque for account opening. and he told that he will arranged a person for credit card application and rest of the thing he will take care of it. so i got the trading account kit and saving bank account opening letter and cheque book and waited for few more days but dint get the remaining kits so i contacted the customer care for Debit card and internet banking but they said you have not applied for the same so i told that i have already submitted the documents for the same so cust care exec told me to get in touch with the person who had opened the account. so told cust care exec to take a request for the debit card and internet banking but they denied and guided me to visit the branch (attached the call recording of cust care exec) so again i called back Rajdeep and his unit manager nanhe chavan he said they will check and get back to me later,

and coming to the credit card application issue a guy name aimul hooda contacted me for Credit card and send a person to collect the documents on 21st Jan so submitted all the required documents and haven't provided any acknowledgment then after 2 days i call back aimul hooda several time but he never respond to it but next day i again called him from different number and he picked up the call and told me that it will take at least 15 days for the process so i waited for another 15 days still no update from aimul and nor i got any email or sms from the bank then i called him again he never respond to my call so i had a word with Nanhe chavan and he escalated the same and still for another 3 days he never called me and given any update on it and he informed Nanhe chavan that he had called me and informed about the same but i never got a call from aimul. again after several Call and email with Nanhe i called him and finally he pick up a call and said he had login the documents now and it will take another 10 days and i will get the sms and this happened last Thursday. so again i called the aimul today still he told me that it will take 10 days i don’t know what’s the hell is going on. i asked what is going on from last 20 days the aimul told me that he had login the form and then the form got returned so again he login the form 3 days back when asked for tracking number he said he don’t have any tracking number for the same asked the 1st time login date for the form but he don’t have any answer for it again he is saying wait for 10 days it will be done and started giving all the bull reasons. i don’t understand what’s going on with my documents, and if anything goes wrong with my document the kotak bank or this aimul hooda is responsible for the same

so again contacted rajdeep and nanhe chavan yesterday and informed that that im very much fed-up with the services provided by you guys and have some family emergency and need the amount back and also im not interested doing transaction with you bank and i don’t want to keep the account so 1st rajdeep started shouting on me and showed hell lot of attitude which is not acceptable and im asking the whole amount to return back but he stated that around 1250 is already deducted for Trading account so i told him i never used you trading account so why it is deducted so he said its already deducted when the account is opened but as per the verbal communication with rajdeep he stated that the Rs1250 will be deducted when i will start trading but today rajdeep and his unit manager nanhe said he got the mail confirmation from higher authorities that i will not get the amount back and started arguing with me which is of no use and told me that i can transfer the remaining amount from the trading account so tried transferring the remaining amount 18876 from the trading account but its failed as i can only withdraw the 17876 from the account so called back rajdeep he told me to purchase some shares and after that i can’t get that whole amount i denied as don’t trust you guys then he told me to close this trading account so i said i had paid for the account then he said then i can’t get that 1000 back then i don’t know what the hell is this im facing hell lot of issue to get back my money this ridicules man.


i got very worst experience with your bank people their attitude and the way they talked is and its not acceptable even they talk rudely when i told i want to close this Account because i am fed-up with this. also they are keep playing blame game from 1 department to another every time nanhe chavan used to tell me that it’s not my department we had done our job, but i told that im dealing with bank not with any department that your internal department issue then why i have to suffer because of your department people making mistake and i have to suffer it. and account opening form has been taken by rajdeep Chatterjee and he told me that he will take care of all this but he failed and even after that he is talking rudely and showing hell lot of attitude

None of your guys have a manner to talk except the customer care executives I would say it’s very worst and pathetic experience i got from your bank people and i will go ahead and launch a complaint with consumer court/ forum about this

what is wrong with your guys i don't know but still i haven't get resolution completely still my trading account issue is not resolved whenever i ask for the progress i get the response on email we are following up with concerned department. 2 weeks back i got email that it will be resolved in week but its 2 weeks and above still pending. its almost a month now but no resolution provided yet. are you guys doing time pass or ignoring this? or you guys are not interested to resolve this?? each and every time you guys are ready with stupid excuses

this the worst bank(kotak mahindra bank) and the people i ever tolerated in my life i would say you it is an insult to the word "worst" if i used that for you guys and kotak bank..

you guys are here to cheat people, make them fool and make money thats it and you guys are not willing to help people.

im sick of tolerating you guys and i want my issue to be resolved or else i will take this matter to consumer court.

When can i expect the call back from you guys?? and make sure all this thing should be sort out at earliest because im tolerating your bank people from last 1 months with silly answers and although the issue / problem is from your department people and i have to suffer on this.
