Hi Kotak Bank,
This is Lokesh Anand and had a LOAN account with the number SPLN62315833. I have sent the email to you guys previously but I have not received any proper email for resolution and also my communication was ignored. I request you guys to read my complete email.
1. Your collection team abused me a lot of time.
2. They have not spoken to me properly and not behaved honestly 3.I have had no help from kotak bank but a lot of lies.
Since I have no such proof of the communications but this was all about trust on the bank. If the bank person or their recovery team this way then this is something very serious.
I settled the LOAN for INR 340, 000 however the settlement team has advised me that you may pay INR 330, 000 to cover the LOAN and this would be sufficient. We will waive off rest INR 10000 from our end and I trusted them because I am dealing with the renowned bank KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK where the employee behaves very rudely and abuses for collection along with lies a lot of times. I am not sure why they are doing this with the CUSTOMERs.
I have made the payment of Approx. 328, 000 already to pay off the LOAN. The recovery team agreed to pay off INR 10, 000 plus the CREDit card transfer fee( I've transferred money from someone's CREDit card to my bank to pay and I informed them about this and they agreed to pay the fee which was around 2200) so this was around INR 12, 000 that was waived off by them. Technically, they said that we will pay this amount on your behalf so that you won't have any due left on this account and were told that you are in safe hands.
Now, I started getting calls from the collections team for the overdue payment which was surprising for me since I paid off the LOAN. Then I tried reaching the recovery team and the members are as below.
1. Naveen Dixit (Mobile number- +91 [protected]) - He denied the discussion and said I never did this and only the settlement letter was the actual amount. This was quite shocking for me when he said this because he was the part of all this and visited my house in my absence and tried spoiling my respect by telling other people about the LOAN.
2. Sameer (Mobile Number- +91 [protected])- He is the boss of all of them who knows the tactics to recover the due LOAN and spoke to me very gently but never was rude to me. He forced me to pay the LOAN however I can and was ready to help me till the payment but once the payment is made then he refused my phone calls via whatsapp/ normal call. He was the main guys who promised me to waive off the CREDit card fee and INR 10, 000 but now he is avoiding my calls and not even replying back to my whatsapp messages which is really shocking for me
3. Himanshu ( Mobile Number- +91 [protected])- He is the guy who confirmed that my payments are done and I have no due left with KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK and you will get the letter within 45 days. I tried reaching out to them for the past 2 days and finally he picked up my CALL ON whatsapp and never replied on whatsapp about the payment. I have the attachment as a proof here. Please find Attachment 1( Himashu Agreement) as a voice/ call recording where he agreed that I have no dues left with KOTAK bank with the LOAN number SPLN62315833.
He is the same guy who was saying that " Iski zameen kurk kara do". I said, please do it by legal way if possible because I am being legal and if you have no money how can you pay.
4 ROHIT- This person was following up my case in COVID period where I had made the payment of LOAN EMI by selling my Air conditioner and he promised for LOAN restructure but later he stopped picking up my call as well. He promised various other things and in the name of Moratorium he has
made me charge the hefty fee which made me settle the LOAN and advised me to not to pay the LOAN until this is not structured again.
I have paid them somehow by getting the money on interest and lent from my friends which I am still paying after all this harassment.
They have used unethical ways to make me pay the amount to them even though they threatened to kill me once. Unfortunately, I have no recording of this because I had no idea that they would say such stuff. They took things to another level and repeatedly harassed me by calling from multiple numbers. I was afraid of them so I was unable to go to the police as well and had a fear of going out of the house. I am a normal Indian citizen who took the LOAN and just tried to pay it off, however covid affected me as I was affected by lies given by the KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK recovery team.
I was in fear and kept on trying to pay off the LOAN and finally I had to decide to settle the amount instead of EMI because I had no other way to pay this off as the amount was roaring high. I ignored everything even after this paid off the LOAN as agreed with the collections team and later I realised that there is still a due when I made full payment. I wish I would have had all the recordings to prove me right and show you how bad they are.
I gathered courage to report their wrong doings finally as I did in the past but there were no help given by the senior authorities but only asking me date and time of calls but nobody reached me out however now, I am ready to fight in the court by legal ways and prove my point because that is not done with a citizen and you can't infringe someone's rights and promise of confidentiality. I agree that I had the LOAN amount overdue which was because of your team's wrong information and fake commitments. They were forcefully asking me to pay and threatening to kill, which you can understand how big the thing is. They will deny all the allegations that I put here because they know what they are doing and not only me but several other people are affected by such wrong doings. I am not being a leader for them but just focused on my concern because that harassment given by them is entitled to punishment as well as compensation. My mother had a psychological disorder and she was badly affected by their behaviour as well when they misbehaved with me. Now, since they have no relation with me however their lies are still following me and harassing me. How can they ignore me since I fulfilled all the terms to settle the LOAN?
Lastly, why is the CUSTOMER always responsible for their wrong commitments?
Who is accountable for this incident?
I know there are CUSTOMERs that are faking bank but here, you guys faked me like this. The recovery team reached to an extent to defame me.
If you have a doubt, please visit all the addresses listed with you and ask about me. They can easily tell you that I am a defaulter of a LOAN. How do they know this?
Is it not a breach of someone's confidentiality?
I had to settle the LOAN because of your lies. Who is responsible for destroying my CIBIL?
I am ### up badly because of you guys and now, I want someone to look into it at the urgent basis and I will not sit until and unless there is no strict action taken against them. There is no Reserve Bank of INDIA benchmark or Guidelines are being followed. Everything is being followed on papers but not happening in real life. If you will start taking the feedback from CUSTOMERs about collection agent behaviour then you would be able to know what is happening on ground level. They know how to play with a CUSTOMER and let them down.
They will never reply to your emails and communications but just make you a fool. I am badly pissed off and still in fear after this complaint, they may come to my house to threaten and stop complaining.
It made me to think to commit suicide and everyone included in this email is responsible. If anything happens to me then KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK is solely responsible for this.

Since Kotak bank does not help me at all with thia request and ignored all the wrongdoings and the person who did the error is calling me. I have the recording where the collection team guy Himanshu mentioned that I have no dues.
Please help me obtaining my NDC
