Hi, First week of June, I received an SMS for morotorium request for 3 months as due to COVID i am getting only 50% of my salary. After filling and submitting an online form on my android phone, i got a pop up that THANK YOU FOR YOUR REQUEST. Surprisingly, after few days a received an SMS for morotorium, i filled the online form again. On 10th June, by my surprice the KOTAK BANK tried to collect my EMI through ECS which got bounce, and i was charged 600 rupees for it. I called call center and they stated that I NEVER REQUESTED FOR MOROTORIUM, the call center exec took my request of morotorium on phone and I got a sms confirmation of request. After few days, KOTAK tried to take ECS again and got bounce, i went on twitter that if the request is in process how can you take EMI, i cant bare charges of 600 again and again. I also have an email confirmation from KOTAK that 3 months morotorium request is under review, email attached On 25 June, KOTAK tried ECS again, i got fed up with them and paid my EMI 16800 on 26th June, but the unthical KOTAK tried to ECS again on 29th June even after paying my EMI which is ridiculous. I demand all my 4 ECS charges of 2400 should be returned and an official email or letter be sent to me for the unethical practice and mental torture i faced form KOTAK.
