Dear Sir,
I am writing to request correction of the exit date mentioned on the relieving letter issued to me (Employee Code: KMBL253627), as the date currently reflected does not align with Kotak Mahindra Bank’s own records and communications.
As per the Bank’s official advisory dated 27 May 2023 (attached), it is recorded that I was absent from duties with effect from 05 May 2023. Accordingly, my last working day was 04 May 2023. However, the relieving letter (attached) issued to me reflects 10 June 2023 as the separation date, which appears to be incorrect.
This is further supported by the May 2023 payroll records (attached), which show that salary was processed for only 7 working days, with the remaining 24 days marked as Loss of Pay (LOP). This payroll treatment is consistent with cessation of active employment in the first week of May 2023.
Additionally, 05 May 2023 was a declared bank holiday (Buddha Purnima), followed by 06 and 07 May 2023 being weekly non-working days. All official company assets and access credentials were formally handed over on 04 May 2023, as mentioned in my resignation email dated 29 April 2023 (attached), after due intimation to the reporting management.
I have raised this concern earlier as well via multiple mails (attached); however, the discrepancy remains unresolved. The incorrect exit date is causing difficulties during background verification and onboarding formalities with my subsequent employer.
I kindly request you to:
- Correct the exit date to 04 May 2023 in all official records
- Issue a revised relieving letter reflecting the corrected date
- Confirm once the update has been completed
I would appreciate your support in resolving this at the earliest.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Regards,
Gaurav Khemka
