I am writing to escalate my unresolved complaint (Ticket No: 385417) lodged on 4 July 2025 regarding a defective dining set purchased on 20 July 2024 (Order No: [protected] / Invoice No: [protected]) worth Rs. 17000. Despite reporting the issue well within an year and undergoing an inspection, I have received no written communication detailing any resolution. Telephonic conversations have repeatedly stated that the product can neither be repaired...

Dear Consumer Complaints Forum,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint and seek appropriate compensation for the gross negligence, mismanagement, and lack of accountability demonstrated by the company in addressing my grievance regarding a non-functioning 6-seater dining set. This issue has persisted for over two weeks, causing immense inconvenience and frustration, with no resolution or even a clear update on the status of my case.

On January 25, 2025, I purchased the dining set from the Marathahalli store in Bangalore. Upon delivery on January 29, 2025, the fitting team was unable to assemble the dining table due to a defective part. They assured me that the issue would be resolved within 3 to 4 days. However, this promise turned out to be the first of many false commitments. Despite repeated follow-ups, the replacement process has been completely mishandled, and the refund process, which I later requested as an alternative, has also been ignored.

The situation worsened when, after 11 days of the original delivery, a technician visited my home with a part that was unrelated to the issue at hand. Shockingly, the team appeared unaware of the actual problem and had no knowledge of any prior communication or attempted resolutions. When I contacted the complaints team for clarification, the representative admitted to having no idea about the status of the fix or whether the defective part had been replaced. This level of incompetence is unacceptable and highlights the complete breakdown of their internal processes.

Throughout this ordeal, I have been subjected to a series of false promises and misleading timelines. Initially, I was told that the replacement would arrive within a few days. As days turned into weeks, the timeline kept shifting. Each time, these assurances proved empty, leaving me stranded without a functional dining set or any meaningful update. The dining set remains packed and unassembled in my hall, occupying unnecessary space and disrupting my daily life. I have attached pictures of the product for your reference.

Adding insult to injury, when I escalated the matter and requested a refund as an alternative solution, the company failed to act on this request as well. Despite being informed that the item is discontinued, they have neither processed the refund nor provided a replacement. Their inability — or unwillingness — to resolve the issue has caused significant inconvenience and financial loss, as I am now forced to explore other options while still awaiting a resolution from them.

This pattern of negligence is not an isolated incident.in previous interactions, I have observed the same lack of ownership and accountability. For instance, scheduling unnecessary visits and providing vague updates have only prolonged the issue. On one occasion, I received an automated message stating that my complaint resolution had been delayed — a recurring theme that reflects poorly on their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Given the extent of the inconvenience caused, the repeated false assurances, and the failure to deliver either a replacement or a refund, I believe that compensation is warranted in this case. The company’s actions (or lack thereof) have resulted in undue stress, wasted time, and financial implications. I kindly urge the Consumer Complaints Forum to intervene and ensure that appropriate compensation is provided to address the harm caused.

    Respected sir,

    I'm Gururaja Hp working in your company Easybuy as a Customer service associate with Emp id 1137722 for Easy buy spar, City center mall Shimoga location.
    The reason why I am writing this letter is because on 05/10/2023 they forced me to resign from my job and not even allow me to do my notice period and even though it has been three months since I resigned from my job, I still haven't received any settlement money except my salary and no one has told me about this issue properly. They are not responding and are very lazy so I need help with this and here or otherwise I will go with legal

      1. Indian terrain boys solid roll-up sleeve shirt (yellow color shirt.)
      2. fame for every boy's solid jeans (black color.).For this, he created pick up order AWB[protected] amount 1748/-

      ceo's office confirmed that, they recevied the prodcuts but i did not recevie money
      please help me on this as i am calling to customer care about this daily but not responding properly on the issue.

          I paid a total amount of 2646.60 for these three items.
          On the 5th Oct I returned these three items with 2 packets One packet was included with
          1. Indian terrain boys solid roll-up sleeve shirt (yellow color shirt.)
          2. fame for every boy's solid jeans (black color.).For this, he created pick up order AWB[protected] amount 1748/-
          3. Indian Terrain Boys dark-washed regular-fit jeans (black color jeans. ) For this, he created a pick-up order AWB[protected]. amount 899/-

          In the call, you confirmed you received three products and I received the confirmation email regarding this.

                  I had placed an order on lifestyle online on 13th nov 2022. Order no. [protected]. I received the order on 17th nov and when I opened the packet the wallet was damaged. I raised a complaint on 17th nov 2022 since then they have been asking for images for the same. I have shared the images since day one and yet the reply that I get is send images. Today when I called them about the update they informed me that since it's been couple of months we cannot pick up the product.
                  It's not my fault if they have not picked up the product since 2 months and now they are refusing to take any responsibility for their error. This is how lifestyle sells products to customers by sending them defective products and not taking it back. Such a big company follows such unethical terms to service the customers. Dishonest company and horrible rules.

                        Hi I placed a order on June 8th for 1 kurta and after it was delivered, I placed a return immediately. however after constant followup calls there is no response and no-one has come to take the order and refund the money .

                        one of the executive told me to return it at store, but when I went to the store in Hyderabad, the customer executive refused to take the return ... what the hell am I supposed to do now. when you can't provide proper customer service to your customer ? I want this resolved on priority

                          Our order as per the invoice number mentioned above has not been delivered on two occasions promised by Home Centre and no one knows where it is or when it will get delivered. We have spent INR 35k and have no idea when our purchase will get delivered.

                          Please either deliver at the earliest or provide a complete refund with interest.

                          We are being harassed and will be forced for legal recourse if no resolution is provided by Home Centre.

                              Placed a simple order online with HOMECENTRE which they are not able to manage with their own courier partner to deliver on time. No control over courier agencies. Customer care is poor in taking down the request and are helpless to take any action. Wonder why they are online if they have no idea how to run the business.Simple advise stay away
