[Resolved] Lenskart — Progressive Lens Spectacles Order | |||||
I have ordered a Progressive lens spectacles from Lenskart. After waiting for almost 2 weeks for it to be delivered, i received the spectacles. The long distance vision was fine, but i could not use the spectacles for reading as there was a slight double vision on an lettering i read - on a book or Newspaper or even while using a laptop. I took it back to the showroom as i remembered they had sold me the deal promising there is a free replacement in case the piece has any issues. When i told them the problem - which was obviously to do with the progressive lens, they were very reluctant to accept the issues and kept insisting that i has to give it time to get used to the spectacles as progressive usually takes time. Since i had used progressive before i agreed to try it for few more days. After using it forcefully, i found that using it for too few hours was giving me a head ache - possible because of reading blurred (double) vision. I had another set of progressive which was having crystal clear reading vision. And it used to be a pleasure to shift to that set after using the Lenskart spectacles. Finally i went back to the store. And they insisted that it was a setting problem and they can adjust the frame and it can be rectified. They did some adjustment with the frame ans asked me to try it for a few more day. After realizing it was not possible for me to use it for reading after couple of weeks i went back to the store.This time i insisted that the problem was with the lens and asked then to replace the lens.They agreed and said they will call you once the replacement comes back. After a week they called me to say they have to place a new order and that i had to validate a OTP that will come to my mobile phone and have to tell them the OTP to validate the order.. I obliged. After a week i got a call saying the new spectacles had arrived. I went to the store (after few day as i was away) and tried the spectacles and found that the problem was exactly the same - Nothing has changed / improved. When i told them the reading vision is as bad as before, they said that they will adjust the frame and it will be ok. By this time i realized that it all this a ploy. Deep in my hear i feel that the same spectacles was given back to me - Though i didn't say it, the store exec kept insisting that a new order was generated and this was a new spectacles. I SAID EVEN IF IT IT THE PROBLEM IS EXACTLY THE SAME. Finally i said i have already wasted 3 months trying to get this spectacle and - now i have completely lost faith in the LENSKART SERVICE. Either give me a Spectacles that has proper vision of tak this spectacle back and refund my money. To which they said that dive us 2 days time and they will get back in touch with me - This incident happened today.
