LG Electronics — Faulty TV 55UB850T piece and no response from Customer care | |||
I have bought a 4K ultra HD tv 55UB850T, 2 months ago from Croma, a reputed seller in Bangalore. Suddenly few days back, I saw few lines in upper portion a small area on right upper portion became white. I raised multiple complaints on the issues and one customer executive came and said due to cleaning the screen got damaged. I shown the document given by the LG itself how to clean the screen and I mentioned I followed it. Then he kept quite for some time and later he examined TV again and told the right side the panel got broken. So he told it wont come under warranty and I have to pay 42000/- to get it replaced. I couldn't see any scratch on the top level panel and I asked them to provide the written report. They are not even bother to provide written report. Complaint no's: TV model is 55UB850T Complaint no: RNA[protected] Complaint no: RNA[protected] Complaint no: RNA[protected] Complaint no: RNA[protected] Apart from that LG website has so many flaws. 1) I can not register the product 55UB850T in LG site 2) They simply close the ticket without attending it and no way to open the ticket again 3) the email sent by them is just an outbound email id and we can not reach them through email. 4) Customer care phone number picks the call with lesser wait time, but they are just saying that they forwarded the issue to local service center. Do you know how to get the issue solved and I will get the service from LG? It seems I do not have other options left apart from taking a legal action. Should I go to Consumer court ?
