Dear Sir / Madam, Please refer to the following emails on the subject (Copy pasted below): Cdr Vishwadeepak Singh’s emails dated 16th April, 21st April, 28th April, 21st May and 23rd May 2015. LG Electronics email dated 20th April 2015. Maharashtra State Consumer Helpline emails dated 21st April, 28th April and 23rd May 2015. In addition, Cdr. Vishwadeepak Singh had telephonic conversation with representatives of LG Electronics, wherein they promised to pay adequate compensation, as follows: Conversation with Ms. Dipali Chavan, of LG Electronics, on 16th April 2015. Conversation with a lady from Headoffice of LG Electronics, on 22nd April 2015. Conversation with Mr. Prashant Patil of LG Electronics, on 23rd April 2015. Please note that despite clear communication to LG Electronics and initial assurances by them, LG Electronics representatives have not been responding to my communications or to the communications sent by Maharashtra State Consumer Helpline post 23rd April 2015. It is requested that the matter be given due weightage and necessary steps be taken forthwith to resolve this matter earliest which has been pending since January 2015. They have chosen to ignore the warranty offered by them and have "adopted a couldn't care less attitude''. It is requested that the matter may be escalated so that LG Electronics honors its commitment. Regards, Cdr. I spoke with Mr. Prashant Patil subsequently who assured me that I would be given best compensation and he would get approval from the Head office for it soon. It has been almost a month since that time and no further communication has been received from Ms. Deepali Chavan / Mr. Prashant Patil / Head Office. Please note that it is going to be almost 04 months since the complaint was lodged with LG Electronics and my LG TV has not been serviced or compensation paid as the TV was in warranty. Request you to take immediate action on it under intimation to me. My LG TV was in perfect working condition when entered into extended warranty contract. 2. LG Technician opined that a component needed replacement, which it was learnt that LG Electronics had stopped manufacturing. 3. The refund amount of Rs. 16, 450/- is very less. 4. I would have to invest twice the refund amount to buy a similar LG product (mandatory) which is not logical. Kindly review your offer in the light of above mentioned facts. Regards, Cdr. As insisted by you that you need an email from me to reply via email, I am summarizing the complaint below: I had purchased a LG TV model LG LCD 42LG80FR. The Vijay Sales outlet had given a purchase receipt in the name of my wife Jyotsna Singh for an amount of Rs. 47, 000/- (Rupees Forty Seven Thousand only). Presently the TV is covered under a service warranty taken in Oct 2013 for a period of 2 years. The TV had stopped working in Jan 2015. I contacted LG customer care. Service technician visited and said that a component needed replacement. Two weeks later a faulty component was delivered by LG Electronics. The LG technician Mr. Mahesh inspected and told that it was faulty and asked company to take it back. Since February 2015 I have been following up with customer care and service technician repeatedly but to no avail. Every time I am told a new excuse/ false promise but no results. The service people are just passing time. Last I was told that the company would provide replacement. Off late they are not taking calls. The names of LG service people are: Mr. Mahesh: Mobile - [protected]. Mr. Ravi : Mobile – [protected]. Fact is that LG Electronics personnel have wasted more than 2 months with no results. Please resolve this ASAP. Kindly explain me how you arrive at the compensation amount by calculating depreciation as you had stated during your telephonic conversation with me. Regards, Cdr. I was called by some representative from LGE Head office on 22 April, who advised me to talk to Mr. Prashant Patil. Subsequently, Mr. Prashant Patil made verbal assurances and promised to do an amicable compensation. However, post that nothing has moved and LGE people are back at passing time. It is requested yet again, that immediate action be taken as it is going to be 3 months of no service despite warranty. Regards, Cdr.
