@LGIndia hi, this is to bring to your notice that how badly customers in ajmer are being looted by your service centre named PRANGAN. I had a cooling issue with my double door side by side refrigerator for which I contacted a local service centre of LG named PRANGAN The technician, that came home to check the refrigerator, inspected everything and said that the issue is just with the compressor and he needs the bill to check if it’s still under warranty. For which I gave him the bill and they said it was still under the 10 years warranty. And so they ordered the part, i.e. the compressor. They told me that the gas charges of ₹3, 250 would be additional and won’t be covered under the warranty. Trusting @LGIndia I believed they wouldn’t be charging anything unnecessary, and so I asked them to proceed. Further they said that the service cannot be done at home and I have to get the refrigerator transported, at my cost, to their service centre for the same. I requested them for home service for which they bluntly denied. So, I agreed to that too. After they said they have received the replacement compressor, they asked me to get the refrigerator transported to them. I even had to ask them to generate a complaint no. before the transportation, to which they said once they receive the refrigerator, they would generate then. On my request they gave me the following complaint number RNP[protected] and then I got the refrigerator transported. They said it would take 3 days for them to complete the service. I also spoke to a friend at LG in the meanwhile. My friend told me that I am not supposed to bear the Gas charges as that is also covered under warranty. I was literally shocked on hearing that such a fraudulent activity is happening at @LGindia. On the third day, today 23.09.2021, when I gave them a phone call, they said the part has just arrived and it would take them time. I have no idea if they were lying before or now. I reconfirmed if the gas was chargeable, top which they said yes & it has to be borne by me only So, I asked them for a proper LG bill for both, the compressor and the gas, to which they said they have just checked and I don’t need to bear the charges for gas now. This was a complete shocker for me, as soon as I asked for the bill they changed. Now, in the evening today a guy from PRANGAN service centre called me and told me that the PCB and the compressor both are faulty and they have to change the PCB too. Now this got on my nerves as their behaviour was already quite dubious since the beginning I told them that the technician had said it was just the compressor that was faulty and nothing else. So, the guy tells me these issues cannot be diagnosed at home. What does this mean, was the technician not a trained person or does the @LGindia service centre wants to loot. They now have my refrigerator and I am scared if they keep on getting things faulty. This is shameless and ridiculous on part of @LGindia @LGUS to be treating there loyal customers like this. Kindly do something about it right away as it is not a cheap product And we are not stupid to deal with such behaviour.
