good day, i hear and see these complaints on lg all the time online and at work yes i work for l.g. Let me explain a bit on how l.g's policies and procedures would apply in your case. Here we have a case where customer wants service after 7 p.m you have to consider that in most cases l.g uses sub-contracters in most the usa much like most manufacterer's that provide products in the usa, now normally these servicer's work 8-5 or 9-6 etc., However l.g cannot control the service center's schedule there for even though we provide the service it has to be normally conducted in one of two time frames that lg normally offers which is 8-12 or 1-5 this may vary depending on area.And as far as the service center rep. being rude you have to understand that you can file complaints on the service centers threw l.g the issue here is that unfortunatly we can not control what they respond to our consumer's that is why you would then contact us (lg) and inform us of this, and yes we did recommend them but understand that at a knowledge point a view they know how to repair our products and if they can get the job done that is the main priority obviously withen the parameters of respect which is why we usually have 3-4 service centers in a given area, this does depend on the city growth and population along with the modernization

Nature of complaint is that when we open the door, glass tray is moving, your technical person visit two times already as per above mention comp. no., but complaint is still pending, I request you please replace my microwave. In this manufacturing fault.

LG Microwave — Stolen parts

Hi,

My Microwave broke down and I gave it to the service center authorized by the company. When I got back my microwave it was nicely packed my in a box saying it can't be repaired. After around 3-4 months, I showed it to one relative who has good knowledge of electronics. He realized that some key parts are taken by the service center guys. I realized that reaching out to service center after this much time is not fruitful so I wrote to LG directly Its been more than 6 months but I haven't got any response.

To those of you who are planning to buy LG products, please think twice.

LG Microwave — regarding servicing centre

I am staying in Margao - Goa .I had sent my LG microwave for repairs at the official servicing centre at Margao a month back.They say that one part has to be replaced and they have ordered it from Mumbai. Almost a month now , every 5-6 days i visit threre or phone them but they are not bothered. Is this your service ? Please ask your centre what is the problem and let me know

This is very unprofessional and not good for LG image.I am copying this to LG India headquarters and world headquarters so that they take corrective action.Any further delay from your side will invite a complaint by me to the consumer redressal commision and legal action.Please service or replace the microwave immediately and return the same.

LG Microwave — Non attendance of unserviceability

Dear Sir,
I have a microwave oven on LG make. I stay near Kharagpur and nearest service center is West Midnapur. I have lodged complaint for unserviceability of the oven several times with LG but they are not resolving the same. The item being propriety in nature local mechanic can't do much about the same.
The details of the complaints are as follows:

Whenever the company is asked about the previous complaint they promptly intimate that that is cancelled and as per company policy the outstanding complaints more than one week are automatically cancelled. So, every time a fresh complaint is required to be lodged if it has not been attended to within a week.
On my repeated complaints their mechanic comes and checks, but he is not able to resolve the same and tell every time that spares are required and the same would be demanded from the company. Till date despite numerous telephone calls They have not come to repair the same with required spare.
Apparantly we as customers are at their mercy and it is their wish if they desire to come and repair the item or not. Now it is going to be seventh month for my oven to remain unserviceable and company is not bothered at all.
It is requested to advice me on the issue and if possible direct the company to attend to the fault immediately.
sir/madam, my microwave ovan LG make is not working.it is normally working when start menu push, but it is not heated.I request you to be pl.come and repair this problem.the product details are -model no.MC101AR. capacity30ltrs.

LG Microwave — Worst after sales customer services

I have a situation here and need your help through Consumer's Forum. My LG microwave had a breakdown recently. I immediately lodged a complaint with the LG customer care dated 23rd July, 2010 bearing complaint no: C[protected]. They claimed that they would attend to the call in 24 working hours. There was no response from them till 29th July. The technician came but returned back saying he had no spares and said he would return with new spares. There has been no response from them till date. I called them multiple times regarding the same. They claimed they would respond in the next 24 hrs every time. But no sign.

A second issue with the same is that: I had taken the microwave to the LG service centre in Arlem on the 22nd of July, 2010. They claimed that they do not offer services there and we have to place a complaint with the LG customer care and that the technician would come home. It seems like this is a money making racket they have. I confirmed the same with the customer care and they said they are supposed to provide services at the service center. The technician claims a charge of Rs. 250/- for his visit.

Thirdly, they wouldn't give parts to our private technician even though the microwave is out of its warranty period. They say that only their personnel are supposed to address this problem which they haven't in spite of repeated calls and complaints to the customer care.

I'd like to know if some action could be taken against them. Kindly take them to task through Consumer's Forum if you think this is valid. Else let me know how I could go about.

LG Microwave — service is very bad

i purchase lg microwave on 03/07/2010 suddenly breakdown recently. I immediately lodged a complaint with the LG customer care dated30/08/2010 bearing complaint They claimed that they would attend to the call in 24 working hours. There was no response from them till 31/. The technician came but returned back saying he had no spares and said he would return with new spares..how much time.........

LG — Very Poor Quality Of Service

I have AMC for my LG Split AC.
Day 1: I have raised a complaint with the TOLL-Free Number stating that there is low cooling.
Day 3: After 2 days of repeated calls, a technician came and said there is a problem in the INDOOR UNIT. then he promised to take the unit for workshop. Then I again called many times to Chennai Center and Toll-Free number, then a person came to my home. He came and said that the unit will be taken to workshop the next day. I compelled and somehow managed to get it to the work shop(they themselves took it).
Day 4: Nothing Happened
Day 5: Nothing Happened
Day 6: I again called and asked about the issue, they said it is pending. I was not satisfied with the response and again asked the representative to transfer the call to supervisor. He said there is a PROBLEM in COMPRESSOR(IS THERE ANY COMPRESSOR IN INDOOR UNIT). I was totally shcoked to hear this. Oh !!! my what is happening in LG

I toyally agree with this... I am from Mumbai and the so called authorized service centre Gennext did the same with us...we had to treathen them that we will get police to ur shop if the unit is not returned...after 3 weeks of follow up and threathening they finally gave the unit unrepaired.
when spoke to LG toll free no., the supervisor had the audacity to tell us that dont worry nothing will happen to ur unit and they will give it back whenever its done!!!

disgusting and most unreliable service from LG...We have decided not to take any LG products...

LG Microwave — Demo

We bought LG Microwave on 4-11-10. On 7th of november we regiter for Demonstration for which request ID- C10B0716653 is given by their call cntre and being promised that engineer will come down on 8th of november as per time fixed. But till date no one turned up despite number of reminder calls.
We got an LG Microwave Oven(Model : MC 8081ALR) from Vijay Sales, Hadapsar, Pune during Diwali 2010. We requested for a Demo for the oven and till date(28th Nov 2010) no one from LG have come to give the demo.While registering for the Demo we had requetsed for the a Weekend, but the smart LG Service guys calls on every Saturdays asking if we wish to have the Demo. And we cofirm them, they for the next whole week these guys dont turn up and then they says CUSTOMER WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
Finally a guy called JAVED ([protected]) was supposed to give the demo.Repeatedly giving him the new address and the time, he calls in and confirms ad tehn says" OHOO SIR, TODAY IT WONT BE POSSIBLE COZ I DONT BELONG TO THAT AREA". He had abusively spoken to us, insulytes us.

If this is the service from LG, its better to please stop making and selling the products.Your Linne says LIFES GOOD with LG but buying LG makes Customers life a HELL.I would personally advice your marketing team to pleas stop marketing annd selling such fake services.Having engineers like JAVED will only spoil the entire LG company's standard.
We do work with customers and all my engineers are well trained, and well mannered and our focus is Customer happiness, not sure what LG focuses on.
I WOULD NEVER EVER SUGGEST ANYONE TO GO FOR LG PROSDUCTS.because they have very illiterate staff and engineers, who would never be available even during their office hours.ALL FAKE PROMISES.
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED BY LG STAFF. First and the last product to buy of LG.

LG microwave oven maintenance service — NO RESPONSE

The LG had taken an amount of 1765 in the month of jan this year , 2010 towards service contract , which is supposed to be for a period of 4 years and expires in the yr 2014 . Same year, in the the month of september , the oven stopped working . The maintenance people from the co came checked and informed me on the phone that the part was not available any more , they couldnt do anything more . Despite several phone calls asking why had they taken fsuch a huge amount towards maintenance service contract , they have not responded , the only thing they do is to keep passing the buck to some one or the other , no one seems to be in charge . I am surprised that such a well known company such as LG could stoop so low ... They can either refund the amount , or give me a new oven in place of the old .I am very angry and disappointed. I rahul jain having a microwave oven of LG company .I complaint for oven at their Ludhiana Office (complaint no is C10B 1805538) they didnt repair my oven till date they said that they dont have the damaged part. what can i do against company in this matter please tell me.

LG Microwave — too much delay and very poor quality of service from the service station.

My LG microwave has cavity sparking problem and it is in the warrenty period.I have logged the complain two months back and still the LG service centre is not able to fix my problem.I have logged the complain to LG sevice centre on 22 /12/2010 and today is 3/3/2011.

LG Microwave — Poor service and casual attitude

I had purchased the LG mircowave some three years back. Lately I was having some problem with this. . I had complained complained to the LG customer care regarding on 9th July 2011. The complaint id being RNA[protected]. I had clearly indicated the nature of the problem and also informed requested that the engineer to visit residence and rectify the same.
No engineer have ever visited our residence, till date. I had also escalated this matter to the circle authority Nitika kothari and observe that despite escalation the engineer hve neither called or visited to verify and rectify the problem.

I would like to bring to your notice that there has been a casual attitude towards customers complaints if AMC is not taken .

I bought LG Microwave 31 Lt on 4Th of October from yusuf sarai market shop Sargam Electronics...They delivered microwave at home, when engineer comes to check, rotating plate was broken so he bought new one on The next day, n Rotating Ring, Steam bowl, Steam plate, Steam cover n MuLti-cook tawa is missing...From The day i m calling Them again n again...but still i didn't get anyThing...So pl do some action
Its true, you are the most worst after sales service people. Forget of attending to the complaint, even sales people you have appointed are very rude.
They will attend to your call in 24 hours once, but they do not show their face at the fixed date. Madam Suvarna atleast you attend to our calls or mail us back our queries. When madam does not answer the call so forget about the service people. Looks that they follow madam's rule, phone aaye to uthao par answer mat karo. Thank-you madam for the service you are giving to your customer. to everybody, next time you buy LG products toke your risk about the service. Horrible...
Timer is out of order. Please rectify as early as possible for sending your service engineer.

LG Electronics — About a month since my TV is not working.

Submitted the complaint already. Someone from lg came for repairing and there were like the spare part they brought is not compatible with my TV even after giving them all the details properly. Such a careless and poor service.

    LG SERVICE IS WORST. MY BEST ADVICE IS DON'T GO FOR ANY LG PRODUCTS. LG COMPANY IS NOT ABLE TO MANAGE CUSTOMER CARE UNIT
    I bought a LG Bullet Mobile Model No: KG288 through Lg dealer in Chennai. Within couple of days, i had a problem in my mobile display and i have inform the shop where i purchased the mobile, he promised me to replace it within 2 working days. But till now he is giving words like they have to get it from LG. I dont know what kind of service LG providing to the customer!!!!!!

    I purchased 1.5 ton window A/C on 3-6-2005. It is not working condition. I made repeated complaints since[protected], 3 days back Mr Nadeem pretending himself to be LG mechanic came to the house saw yhe A/c opened the same and told me that its compresor is out of order and assured that the same evening he shall come to collect alongwith standby A/C so that I not put to inconvenience. He got certain papers signed by me stating that he shall give his report to the office. He hs left the A/C dismentled. I am all along waiting. It is very hot weather here I am not able to take sleep.     I visited LG service centre (Universal Electro Lab), Hisar as of some fault in my Microwave. R.No. 490 was issued on 09/05/09 with confirmation that the microwave can be collected at 03 pm.I visited the service centre premises at 3 pm but Mr. Sartaj told me that the part is not availaible and the same will be done by Tuesday i.e 12th May. I visited to collect the Microwave on 13th May, but again I was assured that the same will be done by today afternoon.I made repeated visits since 9-5-2009, but it has been 10 days the complait is not yet solved.I am still waiting for response from Universal Electro Lab. The Microwave is lying at the premises o[censored]niversal Electro since 09th May. I have sufferred a lot bcs of this kind of service from LG, and it is totally harassment of the customer. Hope that I will recieve my Microwave in working condition before I go through some legal proceedings.

      I had by mistake purchased one LG Audio system which was very costly as compared to the similar products of other make. The so called costly product went wrong and I had made a complaint to this board. A technician turned up and said that the system has to be sent to the service station. This was the first step when I smelt some fraud in it. However the system was sent to the service station at Ranchi, Jharkhand. As I already felt, I was told the an estimate will be given and the system would be made right in 2 days time. I had given the system on 01.11.2007. Till date I am being told that we do not have the spares, nor do they tell me the estimate. I very well know that I am going to be charged somewhat more than a new set so that the same is discsrded and I go for a new purchase. Please help.

          Sir,

          I had purchased a LG KG800 hadset on 07.01.2007 in Delhi, India.
          (IMEI No. [protected])

          The keypad lights of this phone was not working since begining. Then in Oct'07 its screen was getting totally while (Blank) on sweeping the top cover.

          I had shown this set to
          Signature Communications , B-100 A, South City -1, Opp Huda Gymkhana Club,
          Near Signature Tower, Gurgaon.
          They had corrected the set telling that its flat cable has been replaced.

          Then after two days its touch buttons light was not glowing --> It was corrected saying that "Cleaning has been done. But for button's light ful key pad is to be replaced, which is not avaialable with them".

          Now the set is getting hanged (No action / Display) when the camera is selected. Also the while / blank screen is appearing again on sliding the top cover. Moreover the battery back up of this phone has reduced drastically.

          Please understand I have spend Rs 11,500/- & am not able to use this phone perfectly even for a year.

          I request you please to look into this problem & let me have appropriate solution for this. (Money Back / replacement of the hand set)

            Hi There,
            My name is Praveen Nair residing in Nerul ,Navi Mumbai ,Maharastra . I had Purchased your LG Trom Washing Machine worth Rs. 23,500/- on Febraury this Year From Vijay Sale Here in mumbai . The Washing Machine was Not working since 25th october for which i had called Vijay Sales (complaint Id - 0710_b270091 ) and also with Lg customer care service in mumbai (complaint Id - W7CA2701497). One your guys had come after Five Days to check the problem which had to be a very minor probelm of the door switch which he told will be replaced the folowing day tuesday .

            The story doesnt end here . i have called your customer daily since then and have been gettin false promises of gettin the work done the same day of calling them..But Still NOTHIN HAS BEEN DONE YET.. on top your customer caqre executives in mumbai kept my call tranfering from one person to the other .. each being really stupid... the list goes like this:-

            2> Heirat - She is the Floor manager in mumbai . I faced the same above problems with her..

            3> Sohail & Gaurav - this guys were a pain as they could solve my issue and then they both put my phone on hold and eventually disconnect it... Very rude Behaviour

            4> Sarita - her phone no given was +91 [protected] ... her promise of gettin back to me in 10 minutes of callin her has till nt taken place ...

            after all this phone calls i feel so stupid buying this Lg product .. you guys have harrased me so much ..i have lots of product of LG at home but now scared and hope they dont get spoilt .. coz now i i have to say Lg SUCKS.. this is a festive season and i have not washed my clothes in last three weeks...


            hope you guys understand and give your customers a bettere after sales .. as i still have not got my minor problem resolved ....

            I am facing an identical problem with my washing machine. Only the place happens to be Pune. It seems LG service is universally poor everywhere Avoid their products like the plague.

                I purchased LG KP 195 Dynamite mobile in the month of March'08. I am facing problem that my voice is not clear to hear other person. I went to LG Service Centre, they told me that the problem is from MIC, we have changed the MIC, now the mobile phone is good. After that I faced the same problem and once again went to the LG Service Centre. They told me same thing as they told me previously, I recieved the mobile and Then repeatly i faced the same problem. Till now I went to LG Service Centre so many time that I don't Know.
                Moreover I found the any model of mobile of LG is very worst to use and their service is more than worst as their mobile set.
                i have bought a LG mobile in mobile stores in banjara hiils last week .

                When it is not attached to current connection it is giving a mild shock after finishing the conversation .

                I want to reurn the mobile and buy another one

                  I own a LG convection Micro Wave. I have sent various mails to the company's customer care asking for the receipe book and manual of the product. Despite having read the mails (read receipt received), they have till date not sent me the same.

                  I have purchased new mobile LG- RD3510 of Rs. 970. Now water damage happen on my mobile so i go to LG Mobile Customer care(Bodakdev, Ahmd). and give them for repairing. After two day when go there they told me following charges for repair.
                  PCB- 1200
                  LCD - 375
                  + extra tax.
                  So repair total is around 1600. This is only repair cost of water damage. If i just include battery, charger and body then may be total cost of mobile will reach 2500.
                  New mobile is of rs 970 and All part repair cost 2500. Is it not interesting?

                  I cant understand this LG mechanism. How this possible . This is really nonsense things.

                  I am praveen kumar from vizag i am facing problem with my handset model number is KF 750 which is front panel is not working properly.
                  This mobile i got a gift from my dad sended me from states .Currentely i cannot provide details of this mobile .
                  But this model launches last 6 monthes back only they provided the warrenty for one year.I purchased this mobile on feb last weak and last 2 monthes back also i suffered the same problem.
                  i gave to your service center they told me that it delivers with in 2 days .
                  after that without customer intimation the circuit has sent to your head office latter on after 20 days they deliverd my mobile .Again i am facing same problem, incase i[censored] want to provide a free service provide me otherwise give me reply what can i do i will do it.i am waiting for ur reply.

                  Very Poor support related to spare part. Suddently stop any produce without alternate spare availity in the market. You indirectly force to not to buy mobile.
                  I have purchased a new LG mobile on 31.10.10 from Universal, and after 10 days use i could analyze that the signal reception is very very poor and incoming calls are effected very much. Beauty is the phone shows full signal strength, but the call is diverted to voicemail. I have sent E-mail to customer care thrice, but to my surprise inspite of customer complaint mail, LG has not bothered to reply for the mail.                     I am an officer of State Bank of India and my husband is a doctor with Kerala govt Service. We purchased a Home Theatre system of LG during this Onam. The purchase was made during first week of August 2007, from a shop at Kuravilangad, Kottayam. ( Model No HT 302 SD) .There was an offer of a 1 GB USB drive free with the model I purchased. But till date I have not received the gift. When I asked the shop from where this was purchased, I was told that usually the gifts of LG comes late. On 05.10.2007, I called the customer information centre, first I was asked to call a number at Kottayam. When I called there, a lady told me that, it was a different section and they never deals with customer complaints. Again I contacted the information centre. This time they gave me a number of Ernakulam Office. When I called there, first they told me that, it is a practice that LG gifts comes late, because I am not the only customer buying their product. Isn't 2 months necessary for a company like LG to assess the number of products sold during festival seasaon. When I asked this she collected my mobile and land line numbers and told me that their executive will call me in 2 hours. But till now I never received any call from anyone from LG. Whole these are utterly disgusting. we never expected this king of a response from a company like LG. One thing I want to add is we are higly satisfied with the performance of the HT system. We expect an early reply and necessary action.

                      Good day,

                      I have bought an LG 32" LCD TV. The delivery was agreed to be made later in the year against payment of an advance. Besides the TV, an entire set of house appliances was purchased, including, a refrigerator, 3 nos. split AC & washing machine. Inspite of the price of 32" LCD TV crashing in the market, in good faith, I have paid Rs. 63000/ in good faith. I had issued a cheque of outstanding amount of Rs. 55000/ on 02-Oct-07. A 32" LG LCD TV was delivered on 06-Oct-07. However, this TV set came in an unsealed box, with significant scratches on the screen as well as the outer body. Moreover, on opening the back cover, a lot of dust had accumulated & apparently penetrated on the electrical switches. On discovering the fact during installation, I have refused to accept this set. This is a preliminary complaint, as I smell trouble & breach of trust. Clearly, Dutta & Company have defaulted in providing me a brand new set as promised. I seek an exchange which Dutta & Company seem reluctant to do. I shall follow up with the result later.

                        Dear LG Service,

                        I have made a complaint to you on 2 months back my complaint No. Is 72002390 regarding my fully automatic washing machine. A number of reminders were also sent to you but neither you service engineer has arrived nor any communication has been received from your side. It is almost two month now since the complaint was made. Is LG Service so busy? I was assured of prompt LG Service at the time of sale of the washing machine to me.
