I bought an LG-LED (LG-LED/42LV3730) from Croma on 25/01/2012. Lan No 4010CD00183735 worth INR 61, 990/-. This year in the month of April, my TV stopped displaying the pictures. I contacted Croma and LG customer service. After a long procedure my TV was picked up and I was told the Panel is not working and the part is not available. The person I am dealing with is Amit Jain Mobile no#[protected] . He offered me a depreciation value of 15%. I was very upset about this whole incident. I bought the TV so happily and it took me a lot of hardwork to pay it off. I am not a millionaire who can keep buying expensive stuffs. This TV was my cherished treasure. After a lot of back and forth conversations, he agreed to get me a depreciation value of 35%. Now the irony is, this 35% value cannot be given in the form of cash or cheque. I will need to purchase another LG TV and they will deduct the 35% value from it and I need to pay the rest. Sad thing is after all that I went through, how can LG expect me to have a trust in their brand anymore!! They are not allowing me to buy a TV from somewhere else again on EMI. Also, the products showcasing on the LG website is so expensive. If I buy the same stuff from SnapDeal, Amazon, Flipkart etc, i'm getting it at such a cheaper rate. Why am I being forced to buy a product from their own warehouse. LG is trying to loot me of my money. Their online escalation link also does not work. I have been trying to post my complaint on http://www.lg.com/in/escalation-online-support since ages. Humbly requesting LG to give me cash/check for the 35% value and finish the entire episode peacefully. I do not have the strength and stamina to pay them for another TV.
