Hi there,
Recently lic site has been migrated, in new version after login, it is showing my gender as Female instead of Male.
When i logged in lic new website ebiz. Licindia.in, if i am adding policy i can't to add it because my profile gender is mentioned as Female.
I tried updating profile from portal but it seems gender dropdown is disabled.
Site is not allowing me to add any new policy due to gender mismatch.
I have contacted the LIC as mentioned in the help guide as below:
Q4. I am unable to add policies to my User ID; message displayed is “Policy cannot be enrolled due to gender mismatch”. Can you please guide?
Ans. It appears that the gender in the policy master is incorrect. Please take up with any of our customer zone or your policy servicing branch office for change of gender in the policy master. If you observe that the gender in the user profile is incorrect, write to us at [protected]@licindia.com for change of gender in the profile.
It seems that no one is actually responding to the emails sent to this email address.
This is preventing me from adding my policies and paying premiums. This is bad customer service.
Hopefully someone from LIC looks into this but I am not really sure if someone will.
