Out of the blue after 8 years of stem cell banking for my elder son, I received an email stating that INR14000/- is due on me. I checked my records/receipts and provided detailed reply on 28th Jan:
"We have done the full and final payment against our lifecell membership CRM No.[protected]. To support this statement, we are attaching scanned pdf copy of the receipt of INR 33, 966/- dated 25th March 2008 that we paid in cash as full and final settlement against our membership. As on date, there is no amount outstanding.
Infact, as per the latest statement that I received from Lifecell via email dated 17th Jan 2015 (also attached herewith), following are the details:
Total Value Billed - INR 66, 000/-
Payments realised through cheques - INR 38, 000/-
Total amount outstanding - INR 28, 000/-
However, if you consider the INR 33, 966/- that we paid in cash,
Payments realised through cash - INR 33, 966/-
Total payment done comes out to be - INR 71, 966/-
This finally means that we have overpaid to Lifecell an amount of INR 5966/- and Lifecell now owes us this amount."
After this email also, I kept on receiving calls from their BPO every 14 days about paying up the pending amount. After rigorous follow-up for 3 months, finally I received their response with an updated statement where it is clearly seen that the figures have been played with, to bring the outstanding amount to Zero.
I was fed up and everytime, I received a call from their Mumbai BPO, I used to tell them to check internally. Finally, I have sent them email again on 14th Oct asking for clarification and final status.
But a week has gone by and I have not even received an acknowledgment of that email, let alone getting it resolved.
The only words that I have for this experience with Lifecell is - PATHETIC, HOPELESS, ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR INTERNAL RECORDS, TOTAL HARASSMENT FOR END CUSTOMER.
I WILL NEVER EVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO LIFECELL. THERE IS NO POINT IN LOOPING IN CELEBRITIES LIKE AISHWARYA RAI FOR ADVERTISEMENT WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETE CARELESS APPROACH TOWARDS CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. Was this information helpful? |
