Lifecell International — Unethical Behavior and Harassment of Customer

I booked with Lifecell in October 2021 fpr 21 years plan where I made the initial payment at that time only and gave a PDC of 25000 for 2nd May 2022 in October 2021 itself.

Lifecell did not produce my cheque to the bank at all and kept calling me and messaging and emailing in September 2022 telling that my membership will be over if I do not make the payment. I then got this investigated as to why the cheque I gave in OCT 2021 was not produced to bank at all and why they are asking me for increased amount now and the response from their side was that there was over writing in the cheque.

Now after one year of me giving them the cheque they got to know that there is over writing in it and it was not produced to bank at all. Now they are asking me to pay 7000 Rs extra for my 21 year plan from the earlier amount.

Also they are telling me that this is my mistake that I should have checked why the cheque did not get debited from my account in May 2022. They have no responsibility even after they were sitting on the cheque for one whole year and did not even submit it to the bank.

I got a call today and that person was telling me that Finance team looked at my cheque and found it in-appropriate with in a week of me giving the cheque in Oct 2021. But they did not had time to ask me for another cheque.

What I now believe is that LifeCell deliberately wanted to ask for extra money and that is why my cheque was not produced to the bank and for this Life Cell has made some over writing in the cheque post I escalated this issue to be able to cheat me and get extra money out of my pocket.

Is this the way LifeCell cheats its customers?

Again got the below email from Lifecell. Can you confirm that I had not given the PDC of 25000 dated 2nd may 2022 to Lifecell in October 2021? Because if you refer to the attached screenshot (sent by Ramani) then you will see that you has only send the screenshot of PDC. Though you have written that you received it on 24th November 2022, but that is not possible as we are still on 4th November 2022 so I believe you had received it on 24th November 2021.

How does the below email justify that lifecell is giving correct information and is not cheating? My simple question is if there was discrepancy in the cheque then why it was not returned to me and asked for another PDS cheque? Why should I now pay GST for payments team of LifeCell not doing its work?
