Hi, I have been using Lion dates for recent few years and I found that the quality of dates were worst nowadays... I have recently been able to to find many worst dates in their packed dates... It is very dry and also worst in taste and also not able to eat also..

Recently i bought this dates packet from a super market, my dad open this pack and started eating this date he found a feather stick with the date, we have no idea about the what feather it is hen or pigeon or any other bird and their package is good but the product is QA is not, this is pandemic situation in this time we found this unwanted things in food items, people may get panic to get new disease so kindly check qa properly.

Even my mother also complained that she got some bird feather inside a newly bought Lion dates packet.

I recently purchased lion dates from the localshop. When i'm opened the packet for date i found a live worms inside the date. So please take an action on lion date company to avoid such things not happened in the future

I bought lion dates which was packed on the 2nd may, 2020, i started having that from 15th june, 2020. I found a few insects in it. But i didn't much wish about it. Just threw it and had. But today[protected] i found a worm in it.
As per the instruction printed on the pack, dates should be consumed before 6 months from packed date. It's not even 2.5 months now!
I got shocked. Really disappointed of spending money on branded dates.

I have always bought lion honey from d mart. But the off late we noticed change in the taste and texture but we thought maybe there is sometimes a change in the honey itself. After consuming about half a dozen bottles one day we decided to do some home test. To our surprise it is pure sugar. We kept the bottle aside and started of with other bottles (By then they started crystallizing without putting in the fridge), all of them having crystals at the bottom. We already consumed and emptied about more than 6 bottles of honey and crystallized honey have about 5 bottles and another 6 unopened bottles. What a waste of money. Please reimburse our money or replace with pure honey. This has been going on since december and i tried to write to customer care but to no avail. I also raised a complaint with fssai... Waiting for their reply too.

I'm really disappointed to send this email, it's horrible to see bird feather in dates which we give it to small children and aged people, it's really unhealthy it really very dangerous people should careful when it comes to food, i really never gone trust lion dates now.

Hi,

I want to mention that 100 gms lion mixed fruit jam is highly charged at rs.25 whereas the quantity inside doesn't seems to be of 100 gms. Quantity is so less within the box and it seems to be 50 gms. Please look into this issue and provide proper justification for the price charged. Really unhappy with the quantity present inside for the price charged.

I purchased lion arabian dates at namdaris jp nagar.. The product is not at all good.. Its very dry and not good.. Its not tasty also.. Can it be replaced.. How it can be rectified.. I have brought it last month and compared to other dates.. Its not good
It is very dry... I approached mandarin.. But the they are not willing to replace it.. Let me know how it be replaced

In the seeded date i have purchase, i have found worm inside the dates. Pl find the attached video. It is a serious issue that small children are also eating and what could have happened. I am going to complain in consumer court.

I had purchased a bottle of Lion Dates Syrup on 10.02.2020 at Saravana Stores, Chennai. I was surprised to see a live insect coming out on opening the bottle.
Please find attached the pictures of the same. The batch is 5155 and packed on 04.02.2020.

I brought lion dates and found worms inside; i thought ok and left; next time when i brought next time the same experience; then decide not to buy and gone for muscat dates in the name of lion's company since its little bit costly but high disappointed several times with poor quality; batch no. Md 742 this month starting manufactured; very very poor quality
I will not suggest or recommend this product to anyone
Strong suggestion to company we people want to have healthier life; please do not play

One who is waiting for an offer, is it okay to make them suffer. It happens in lion dates buy one get one offer. yes it is chemical mixed dates. some bad smell is coming from lion dates even after washing too..

I bought lion dates recently, and there was a worm inside the pack i had one piece of dates and when i took the next piece a worm came out. I have taken a video of the same. It was really a bad experience from such trustworthy company. I always go for lion dates instead of local brands, this time i was disappointed. I returned the pack to the shop and got a new one. But the questions now is.. Can i trust this brand.??

Hello sir,

All lion dates are too costly. Same Dates 60-70 per kg outside but you are selling 152 to 220 per 500g. Desert king also too costly. I m unsatisfied on this MRP. Every time I paid more rate. Yesterday I asked in market they told 70/kg. Please Don't cheat to customers

Insects found inside dates sold by lion dates brand company.

I bought this 500g packet from dmart. I am a regular user of lion dates since my school days. When i saw the insects i was shocked. 10 years of brand value and my trust in the company is shattered. Me, my wife and my kid are having these dates now. The important thing is trust with the customers. This is not the first time also. From 2006 i can find threads leading to the same issue. If such a good company cannot maintain quality then its not worth the people's trust.

Please take necessary actions to resolve.

I have purchased 2 packs of 250 gms each lion dates in metro mall hyd.. Manufacturing date and expiry date is all fine.. But, i was shocked to see the quality of dates specially found hair strands, some dirty partcles on dates and also black insects.. I bought the dates for my 3 year old son.. Is this the way an iso standard company give us the quality.. Please do respond.. Dates intake is very healthy so we prefer the branded ones.. But its very disappointing and trust breaking..

I recently bought lion kashmir honey and realized that it's more of a sugar syrup instead of a honey. I believe food safety department has to evaluate this honey from retail stores instead of the factory and decide whether they should continue selling this product. This needs to be looked upon asap, as this may cause considerable health concern to people if this product is not a real honey and it has agmark branding too, which is highly surprising....

I bought a packet of lion deseeded dates last month.
I have already found a hair strand in the packet the very next day itself and now again another strand of hair in the same packet. Plus bits of some weird strands and the hair is embedded between the dates so it's pretty obvious and i have been buying dates a lot and this is the quality we receive... Amazing

Hlo to day 19-02-18 i brought lion date, manufatured in 07-02-18, when i open the pack i saw insects in side dates, this was the second time i hav noticed, i thought that the company will rectify the problem but nothing like that and i dont no how these dates got iso certified, shame on lion dates company and shame on government such a couruption employees

The response level is just 2% in this forum. Complaint can be lodged with Desugnated Officer (Food Safety) of the area where the product was purchased along with the evidences.

This is a very bad product with dead insects and rotten dates. I wonder how they got all government approvals to sell.
I bought this from star bazaar. It had all kind of government seals on it including fsaai. But there were dead insects in it. Many of the pieces were rotten. What are these government agencies doing. Are they blind to such or have they taken bribes to cover them up. No complaints here seemed to be addressed by them. Writing just in case some consumer in future might be saved or media at least take some action on it.
