I want to get an NoC for transfer of registration of my vehicle (Maruti
Swift Vdi) bearing registration number DL-3CBJ-8711 from New Delhi RTO
to Assam (where the vehicle will be operating from now on). The reason
for this transfer is because I am no longer working in India and moved
out to USA. I am currently working with Alliant Technologies here in
Morristown, NJ (address below in my email signature). The car will be
operated by my family in my hometown (Duliajan, Assam). The vehicle is still
under Axis Bank loan and I am currently paying the monthly EMI amount
and will continue to pay.
I have sent my own brother to Delhi office with all the required documents and authorization letter but the department came up with saying that this request is rejected because the end location (Duliajan, Assam) doesn't fall in Guwahati circle. This is very hard to digest as Axis Bank does have a local branch in Duliajan as well. This is very unfortunate on Axis Bank's part on how they handle their customers.
