MagicBricks — non refund of erroneous double payment | |
On 14/5/2018, I purchased a Gold Platinum Listing for Rs.1875/- using my SBI debit card. I received one OTP and One SMS from my bankers for having debited my account. But on checking my account I was shocked to find that my account debited twice. Immediately I sent called magic bricks helpline & was told that two Gold Platinum listing were generated and activated too. I requested them to refund Rs.1875/- as it was a system error and why would I need two packages. But all I got was a feedback message for all the mails I sent & was even told that it was against the company's policy to refund the money. Cheating the public is the company's policy it looks like. Is it a question of life and death that an amount which has been credited to their account erroneously cannot be refunded? Was this information helpful? | |
