Complaint Description
I, Nandan, am filing this complaint against Magicpin and its listed merchant The Hunger Company for deficiency in service, delivery o[censored]nsafe food, and failure to resolve my grievance despite repeated follow-ups.
On placing Order ID:[protected] via the Magicpin platform, the food was delivered in a completely unacceptable, unsafe, and unhygienic condition. The issues faced are as follows:
Multiple food items were missing and quantities delivered were less than what was ordered
Fries were missing and improperly prepared
Burger patties were completely cold and emitted a foul smell, indicating stale food
The food tasted extremely bad and was unfit for consumption
In the loaded ham burger, one patty was completely missing
Due to the above issues, the food could not be consumed at all, resulting in physical discomfort, mental distress, and inconvenience, as I had to remain hungry.
Failure of Customer Support
I immediately raised a complaint with Magicpin under Issue ID: [protected]. However:
The assigned support agent (Ayushi) was uncooperative and failed to provide any meaningful resolution
Multiple follow-up emails were ignored
Calls made to Magicpin’s customer support number[protected] went unanswered
Despite giving sufficient time and opportunity, Magicpin has failed to resolve the issue or process a refund, showing a clear lack of accountability and negligence in grievance redressal.
Relief Sought
I hereby request the Honorable Consumer Grievance Authority to direct Magicpin to:
Process a FULL REFUND of the total order amount immediately
Provide written confirmation of the refund
Take appropriate action against the merchant The Hunger Company for supplying unsafe and substandard food
Take note of Magicpin’s failure to provide timely customer support, amounting to deficiency in service
I clearly state that I do not accept partial refunds, coupons, wallet credits, or alternative compensation.

This complaint is filed under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, on grounds of:
Deficiency in service
Supply o[censored]nsafe and unfit food
Unfair trade practice
Failure to redress consumer grievance
