I would like to file a formal complaint against Magicpin (Samast Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), a mobile app-based platform for cashback and voucher payments.

Issue Summary:
On the above-mentioned date, I made a payment via Magicpin at a hotel that was listed as an active partner on their app. After the payment was successfully completed, the hotel management informed me that they no longer accept Magicpin payments due to internal issues — a fact that was not disclosed on the app at the time of the transaction.
As a result:
I did not receive any food or service from the hotel.
I lost the entire amount paid through Magicpin.
I experienced mental stress, inconvenience, and wasted time.
Attempts to Resolve:
I immediately contacted Magicpin through their app. Their response was vague and unhelpful:
T...venience — but this action was taken after my loss.
They stated that the merchant has processed the refund, but they have not provided any proof, transaction reference, refund amount, or credit to my account.
They have no helpline number, and their app only offers an option to send emails, which have yielded no proper resolution to date.
No compensation has been offered for the inconvenience and loss caused due to their platform’s mismanagement.
Relief Sought:
1. Full refund of the amount paid (₹94).
2. Compensation for the inconvenience, mental distress, and time wasted.
3. Assurance that Magicpin properly audits and verifies listed merchants before displaying them as active partners.
4. Action against the platform for unfair trade practices and poor grievance redressal system.
