[Resolved] Mahanagar Gas Ltd. — Non-responsive service | |||
This is regarding a Purchase Order placed on an authorized dealer of Adidas for female sports shoes. We had placed an order on your authorized dealer M/s Nijhawan Travel Service Pvt. Ltd. (located at Shop No. 5 & 6, Swarah Rekha, Linking Road, Khar West, Mumbai – 400052) on 24.03.2014 for supply of 13 Pairs of Adidas Female Sports shoes. (PO attached for kind reference) Our representatives had visited the shop and chosen the design of the shoes to be ordered. A person from the shop visited our office at BKC with the size scale to note the sizes of the 13 pairs required. Advance payment of Rs. 52, 611.00 was made to the dealer on 07.04.2014 and the shoes were to be delivered on the day the cheque was realized. Accordingly the shoes were delivered on 14.04.2014. However, out of the 13 pairs delivered four were of the wrong size and one pair was defective. This was informed to the dealer on 14.04.2014 itself. But even after a follow up of more than 2 weeks there was no response from their side. On 03.05.2014 we were informed that the sizes which we required are not available with any one of their Mumbai stores. So for the same which they have put up a refill from their Delhi warehouse which is taking time. They requested for a few more days time to deliver the shoes. On 06.05.2014 we were informed that the replacement has been received. They were asked to deliver the shoes at the same address on the same day. Finally the replacement was received on 12.05.2014. However again it was found that out of the 4 pairs delivered, one box of shoes contained one shoe of size 6 and one of size 7. The dealer was again contacted, but they responded saying that their karagir (worker) is not available today and no fixed date was communicated. We fail to understand why a worker is required for shoe replacement. We regret to say that this kind o[censored]nprofessional service is not expected from an established brand like adidas. These shoes were to be gifted to our female employees who had participated in the women’s marathon as a token of appreciation. We have all reasons to believe that running for the marathon was far more easier than purchasing these shoes. After such service we are sorry to say that we will not be dealing with Adidas in future for any kind of purchases. We request you now to either replace the shoes with the correct size immediately or refund us the amount paid to you and take back all the pairs. Was this information helpful? | |||
