[Resolved] Mahindra And Mahindra — Mahindra XUV500 W8 issues within 2.5 years | |||||
I purchased XUV 500 W8 top end version in August 2014. It is a single hand driven, impeccably maintained and run 30000 km. From ladt few months i have started getting issues like the start stop feature not working, AC blower issues and now the vehicle one day just wouldn't start. I had to call breakdown service. In workshop earlier they have said the battery has become weak and hence start stop is not working or because we are using start stop feature hence battery had become weak! This is really disappointing and not expected from a brand and flagship vehicle of Mahindra. On top of it I have come to know battery has warranty of only 2 years. So as soon as 2 years are over its started goving problems ?? I had a simple Ford Ikon before this and it ran perfectly well for 5 years without any battery issues. Also most battery companies give warranty of 3 or more years. Why is Mahindra not taking up this with Amaron and if the product is faulty they should stop using Amaron battery. I would like to know how come such a supposedly powerful vehicle is supposed to run on weak battery product ? Was this information helpful? | |||||
