Mahindra First Choice [MFCWL] — unethical billing for the servicing | |||
Sir, 1. Iam a proud owner of mahindra scorpio (S10) since 2015 and never had any issues including service related till date. However, this is the first instance and that also of a major nature that left me with no choice but to report this matter to you and if required to consumer court. 2. On 27 jun 20, i have given my vehicle for servicing and repair of front glass rubber including the fm antenna on roof-top to poonam motors (A franchise of mahindra first choice services ltd). 3. Around 11-12 am, my car was picked by the service center rep and the vehicle was delivered post servicing/ repairs iaw the attached bill by 7, pm. (That is within 7 hours, including the travelling time, lunch break and actual service/ repairs on my vehicle). 4. I was charged a total of rs 19, 249 (Rs 4296 for material and rs 14, 952 for labour). 5. When inquired for high bill and especially the labour charges, they told me that many materials were included in the labour charges (An unsatisfactory and unethical reply). Further, the vehicle on driving for a week was found to be full of problems and uneasy in handling. 6. I complained to the service center through a whatsapp message and warn them that i will complaint to higher authorities. However, no reply came from the manager, instead the service center was more interested to whom and how iam raising the complain. 7. Presently, i have given my vehicle in another mahindra service center for servicing/ repair and obtaining the proof for the unethical servicing and billing by poonam motors. 8. Request you to kindly inquire in this matter and direct the service center to refund my entire amount. Further, the action taken against the service center (Poonam motors) from your end be communicated in writing to me. 9.in case of non-reply from your end/ unsatisfactory reply in next 10 days, i will be left with no option but to go to consumer court with relevant details and for obtaining compensation. 10. Iam attaching the bill copy provided by poonam motors. The proof that is obtained from other mahindra center would be submitted to the judiciary, if required at a later date. 11. Further, iam attaching one of the pic showing damages done to the antenna assembly thereby leading to ingress of water during rain inside the car. Other damages i can't show in pics, however the report/ bill of other mahindra service center will work for the same.
