Maruti Insurance — Policy not renewed even after payment | |
I own a celerio Vxi AMT and am having an insurance policy with Iffco Tokio through MI. Policy document is attached. I had renewed my policy on 31 August by paying Rs. 8523. Snapshot of payment confirmation mail is attached. Renewal was done at Pasco Aotomobiles. The vehicle is currently at Maitri MASS, MASS code 2378, at Manesar for bodywork. But the insurance company has rejected the claim saying that they do not have any ongoing policy for this vehicle. I contacted MI Support they confirmed that they have issued a policy for my vehicle valid till 11 September 2021 and asked me to call the insurace company regarding the issue. So I called insurance company. They are saying that my policy has expired on 11 September 2020 and currently I do not have any ongoing insurance policy with them. Both the insurance company and Maruti Insurance are redirecting me to each other but no one is taking the responsibility and solving my problem. It should be the responsibilty of the broker to resolve customer concern in such cases but Maruti Insurance does not seem to care about the customers. If this is the quality of support provided by MI then I do not see a reason to renew my policy with them. Really pathetic experience. It is nowhere near to what they claim while convincing the customer to buy insurance through MI. Was this information helpful? | |
