Maruti Insurance — Unclarity on issuance of policy after KYC

As I understand now Maruti Car Insurance have made it mandatory for Car insurance owner to get KYC verified before issuing car insurance policy.
The process takes place online.

The thing is there are some insurance companies like HDFC, Universal, Tata that mandatorily need KYC to be verified before you can get the policy.

So in such a case if your policy is expiring on 31 July and you renew it on 29 july then if the process is stuck in KYC the due date will lapse and your vehicle will be without insurance.

While renewing car insurance policy thru Maruti Insurance broking please avoid these insurance companies if you are renewing at the last minute
