Maruti Suzuki India — celerio automatic sudden jolt in during middle of driving and car stops

Address:500084

I have 2016 oct celerio automatic car. There was discomfort in the gear shift from the beginning but thought that is default for automatic
I gave my car for servicing on jan 5th 2019 and let them know to check the gear system as the overall driving exp in gear shift was uneasy
On feb 20th 2019 at 4 pmwhile i was driving, while the gear was automatically shifting from 2-3 the car gave a very big jerk and i want and hit the steering,. The car paused for a second causing the cars behind to apply breakes, started on its own and moved ahead (As it was already in gear). Now this was a near fatal accident that was averted. It moved ahead for a few meters picked up speed and again while automatically shifting the gear from 3-4 again jolted and stopped. The car now did not drive position making the trraffic to halt. People around pushed the car and slowly could come home
The next steps of contacting maruthi service center was a nightmare. People ever after listening are callous and asked me if i could slowly get the car. They gave me 3-4 numbers to call instead of addressing the issue. The car was only picked up next day at 11.40 am. After multiple followups, i cam to know the next day feb 22nd that it is an amt issue and needs to be replaced
Now amt issue is a ver known issue to maruthi and many cases were reported. They have cut off chasis numbers published in 2017 with cars having the issue. Mynquestions to maruti are
1. Should the carsfalling around the chasis be checked during service when the customer specifically complains of gear glitch. I have seen many cars being recalled or called for checking
2. According to aria territory manager, during servicing it can be checked by driving for 15 km to see if some mr sensor blinks.
The service center was was very rash and the answer to all my questions were
We will rectify only after the problem occurs even though we have instructions of the known issue. Which means in some fatal cases like this, they will reat after the accident occurs.
I suggest all 2016, 2017 celerio automatic cars be checked for amt issues, else it could cost a life in some cases

It has been 2 days since I lodged the complaint and I see no response about the issue. Just replacing the part after a big incident that could have been avoided is not a solution
How is Maruthi Suzuki ignoring such major faults with the AMT system and giving instructions to service to replace the already known defective parts
AGM of varun motors made us wait to show the chasis numbers that were communicated to the dealers about the faulty AMT cars. He said he would share it in an hour via email which is not done. Please trace to the root of the problem to addrrss the issue

I see that the AMT box replacement is not going to solve the problem as it might reoccur. Below is another customer review where problem seems to have reoccured
I do not have confidence that Imwill not face the same issue again

I am also a victim of this juddering issue. I just got my Clutch Set replaced yesterday[protected] as per your advice, Audioholic (thank you very much for it). The service center wanted to do away with just calibration and reset, but I insisted for the clutch set replacement, so they did it with unhappy and question face. The reality is even they don't know the real problem and they can't accept it also.

Audioholic, did you email the Maruti in Gurgaon, or dealer/regional head? Can you please share the email, so I can also fire them. Hopefully, they will be able to release the software update before my new clutch set wears out.
Loss of power to drive wheels spontaneously

Drove to Kalyani Motors and after running the diagnostics confirmed the AMT box needs to be replaced. First box replaced around 17k and second failed at 25k.
