Fraud committed by Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket
I called up Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi on 27th April on their landline number [protected] to ask for covid bed availability as my Uncle is critically ill. A man who picked the call at hospital introduced himself as Dr. Mohit and asked me to first send my uncle's adhar card copy and reports to him on his whatsapp number[protected]. Upon receiving the details he confirmed that single bed is available which he can provide for 3 days for which per day rent will be Rs 35000. He told me that to book this bed I will have to pay Rs52, 500 in advance along with Rs5000 as ambulance charges. He sent me the hospital account number[protected], IFSC code YESB0CMSNOC and beneficiary name as Max Superspeciality Hospital Pvt Ltd. I was asked to pay through IMPS if I done have googlepay or paytm upi. After the IMPS was done he asked me to share the screenshot of the transactions so that he can get the bill generated for me. After the payment was sent for total Rs.57500 he stopped responding to my calls. When I later checked this person's phone number on True Caller it was showing Veeru Staff. As I had called the hospital landline which is published in their site as well, Max Hospital should be held accountable for this fraud as I was talking to authorised representative of the hospital.
