[Resolved]  Max Life Insurance — Cheating Case for closing the policy

I put forth my grievance to Bharti Axa for providing me justice with regard to a fraud case and misguided / cheated by the staff of Max Life.

On 26/10/2021, after login the website of Max Life for the status of my Max Life policy No.[protected], I received a call from a person called Sanjay Singh (Mobile No. [protected]). He was saying that he is the staff of Max Life Insurance and accordingly I was enquired about the benefits of the policy.

He told that the above policy of Max Life chosen by me is not a beneficial one and it is only beneficial to Axis Bank (Agent of Max Life) from whom I bought this policy. He advised me to withdraw the policy amount with no loss. Accordingly he lodged a complaint and provided me the Complaint No. MLI-1379 dated 26/10/2021 and he also advised me to contact one Mr. Siddesh of GBIC (Mobile No. [protected]) in connection with closing of this policy.

Accordingly I contacted Mr. Siddesh on 29/10/2021 and he advised me to close the Max Life Policy and in turn he advised me to open a new policy with Bharti Axa in lieu of Max Life Policy as a freeze as the policy of Max Life non-beneficial one. I did so as advised by him by opening a policy for Rs. 30, 000/- on 01/11/2021 of Bharti Axa vide Policy No.[protected]Bharti AXA Life Shining Stars), Customer ID : gopal_vnv[protected].

Though I had no amount in my hand during that time and but compelled to take the policy through my credit card on EMI system, hence loss to me. He also told that the policy of Bharti Axa will be dummy policy and will be encashed afterwards.

Mr. Siddesh also advised me to contact Mr. Manish (Mobile No. [protected]) of Max Life Insurance Company for closure proceeds of Max Life Insurance Policy. After contacting Mr. Manish, he asked me to send my bank details for crediting the closure proceeds of Max Life Insurance Policy. Accordingly I shared my bank details on 30/12/2021.

After 30/12/2021, I never received any positive reply from Mr. Sanjay Singh or Mr. Siddesh or Mr. Manish. Initially, whenever I made calls to them, they were telling over phone that my work of closure of Max Life Policy will be done. Later, I am trying to contact them several times, but they are not lifting my call. Till date I am sending a lot of messages to them, but no reply.

In between my various communications to the above persons, once during last week of March, 2022, Mr. Sanjay Singh assured me that the closure proceeds of Max Life will be done and the amount will be credited to my bank account between 20th to 28th March, 2022. But nothing has been done.

I presume that the above three persons are fraud and cheated me a lot. As confirmed by Customer Care of Max Life Insurance, there is no complaint or request lodged by me for closure of the policy.

I request you to please interrogate in the matter and give me justice to close my policy with all benefits and take appropriate action against the concerned persons of Max Life Mr. Sanjay Singh & Mr. Manish and also so called GBIC staff Mr. Siddesh and refund back the lost amount on this issue.
