[Resolved] Max Life Insurance — fraud calls?? | |||
I am a life insurance policy holdet with your company. Giving you two numbers who called me to claim my bonusamounting to 97K+ which would otherwise be claimed by the agent. I spoke to customer care executives twice before doing any transactions. They wanted me to deposit INR 25700/ of which. 25k would be returned along with the bonus. When I refused, the woman sounded annoyed. On asking office address, she gave Fair Valley, phase 4, DLF 11 and 12 flour. The telephone no in question are Anamika [protected] (listed name Chetan Sharma), Sachin Sharma-[protected]. He is supposed to be from accounts department. We have robust controls and Information Security framework to maintain the confidentiality of our policyholders’ information. However, information from various sources is being constructed and made to sound as authentic as possible by these fraudsters to scam customers. These fraudsters usually operate in well-organized cartels and pose a threat to customers across financial services industry as notified in recent press articles. We are glad that you are not lured by call from fraudsters offering you discounts on premium or promising you opportunities to cash-in on agent’s commission/ unpaid gains/ bonus on your policy etc. We request you to lodge a police complaint against such suspected fraudsters immediately and ensure stern action against them, with a copy marked to us.
