Policy no.[protected] I instructed the agent to cancel my application 3 times (29 Apr, 01 May and 02 May). The agent did not cancel and went ahead with the policy with incorrect information and without my consent. The policy got issued on 03 May.
I logged into the customer portal and raised a free look period cancellation request and received an email stating that I will be contacted within 24 hours. I did not receive any call, only another email on 05 May saying the company is not able to reach me and cannot process the request until they talk with me
I called the customer care in india on 05 May and was told that I can only cancel by email and should send an email to nri.[protected]@maxlifeinsurance.com which I did immediately along with the required documents and proof of all my communication with the agent. It’s 06 May today and I once again get an email from maxlife that they tried calling me and that they cannot cancel until they talk.
I just need the policy cancelled and premium credited back to my account. Can someone please process the cancellation and confirm
