Introducing my policy no as 120700/34/21/04/00000001 and id no as MD15-[protected] Claim no :MD16340830 for Rs 109350/ has been processed with deduction of Rs 9600/consisting of Rs 8000/ for thallium stress test dated 09/03/2021 and other Rs 1600/ dated 05/02/2021.My date of hospitalization being 09/04/2021, it is okay if the Rs 1600/ disallowed as being beyond the period of 30 days, quite beyond the period of pre hospitalization but the thallium stress test is nearly with in the pre hospitalization and test is carried out for 3 days and report date as it is evident from the report it self is 10th March, 2021 .I have remitted the claim charges on 9th March 2021 and receipt for the same has taken as date of claim and not the report of the test is not considered and finally the claim of the amount is rejected.
More over, the test meant for heart ailment which is not specifically not included in the list of the test as admissible it is more conclusive test for the heart related readings, the same may be considered as separate claim if it is considered as beyond the period of 30 days tenure of pre hospitalization .The test is carried out at general public hospital U.N.Mehta Heart Hospital and I have attended the final consultant 's meeting as out door patient id no UNM[protected] on 12th March 2021 which is by all means is with in the period of 30 days of pre hospitalization.Any way my, my claim of thallium stress test may be considered as legitimate either within the range of 30 days of pre hospitalization or may be considered as separate claim for thallium stress test and may be directed for its payment.
