Dear meru cabs,
I took a meru cabs from hyderabad airport to defence labs qtrs, kanchanbagh on 6th mar 2018 at 7.52 am (The details are enclosed as photos). When last time (Roughly two months back), i remember, i paid around rs. 550/-. This time driver demanded rs. 922/- and took rs. 940/- because the change was not available. This time no message about the fare and i tried through [protected] for email bill that also not available. The driver did not reveal his name and given a bill with the wrong vehicle no. The actual vehicle no. Ends 5033. The no. 5033 in the bill is written by me later by seeing the vehicle while leaving.

I request action on the above matter and direct the driver to return the excess money collected if any.

    I booked a cab for my mother in law from vaishali to delhi (Durga puri chowk) where meru online app deducted full & final payment online but driver mr. Yadav of dl1ry 4800 cab number not only stop online tracking system in between of journey also threaten, harass and taken cash of 300 rs. From my mother in law stating this is the right amount he is taking not the one which is already deducted by company.
    He also denied of having conference call with meru office and told me do whatever you can as he doesn’t drive locally there only in haryana so no one will listen to us

      Hello sir,

      I used meru cab on 11th feb 2018 at hyderabad to travel from ameerpet to airport at 4:10 pm. The driver said you will get bill through mail. I consulted your receptionists on 14th, 15th and 16th feb 2018 regarding receipt of bill they told they will send through my mail sritech. [protected]@gmail.com. So for i have not received any receipt for using your cab service. Please send the receipt of the same to my mail.

        Please refer to my complaint dated 21.11.2017 of rude behaviour of driver vehicle number dl 1ry 8292 while traveling from delhi airport to delhi station. He took the long distance thus taking more time and more fare. I was about to miss my train also. On enquiry, showing dadagiri, he said that meru will never allow any other cab to enter airport. Please update me on my complaint as it is more than 2 months old. Thanks and regards.

          I had taken a meru from the delhi t2 airport to faridabad on 15/12/2107 at 10:11 pm. They charged me a whopping inr 1217 and have not yet sent me the receipt for the same. I have sent atleast 6 requests so far and not even once have they sent it.
          Even the otps also do not come.
          It is the worst mobile app and service. I made a mistake once by hiring meru. Never ever will i ever take a meru.

            On 21.11.2017 i took meru cab no. Dl 1ry 8292 from delhi airport to delhi railway station. The driver took long route thus wasting my time and money. On asking he explained very rudely that i can not take the cab by air and said that meru will not allow any other cab service provider at delhi airport. Please look in to the matter and advise. Regards

              Dear sir/madam,
              I am travelling while submitting this compliant about meru cab being operated by mr. Sunil. Car no - dl1 ry8163.
              Booking no[protected].
              I had booked a meru from delhi tobghaziabad... But the minute i entered the taxi.. The driver mr. Sunil started complianing that he did not want to go to ghaziabad...in fact he started driving the vehicle only after 20 mins.
              After starting the vehicle i asked him to decrease the a/c as it was very hot... For
              Which he said that if i was feeling hot i should come and sit in the front beside him.
              He did not budge from his stance and later threathenwd to kill me
              I dont understand what kind of a driver is this... If this situation is not addressed
              .. I will report this in the police station

                I had a confirmed booking to airport on 02-08-17 at 8.50pm. The driver - manjunath y s called me and confirmed that he was coming. The app also kept showing he was on the way.

                When it was getting late, i called him about 11 times and he did not bother to answer. However the app kept saying he was on the way.

                I had to incur heavy costs to make alternative arrangements to reach airport. I was traveling with family and thus it was a severe mental torture as we almost missed the flight. Several complaints to meru yielded no result.

                All relevant screen-shots attached. I need justice...

                  My car was hit by your cab. Please see details below. I would like monetary compensation to fix the damages to my car.
                  Meru (Airport taxi) cab number : ka 53 b 4673
                  Place - ganganagar flyover towards mekhri circle.
                  Date/time : 7th august 12:43pm

                  The driver did not break on time when the traffic stopped and rammed into the back of my car. I was moving to the side of the road to assess damage and signaled him to pull over, but he did not stop and drove away. I have captured the photo of the rear of his car as evidence of his car registration number.

                    Booked a meru cab from mumbai international airport to airoli, new mumbai on 21st july 2017 at 10.11 pm. I told driver to take jvlr route, he told me he just had been there and there is heavy traffic jam though google map was showing no traffic at all. Then also, he tried to take sclr as it is 5 km longer. I forced him to change route to jvlr. About mode of payment, i told him through wallet, he said, i will not accept, when i said, i will complaint, he pleaded that i need money for diesel, i agreed but, i didn't had change. He told me at tollnaka, we will get change. At airoli tolnaka, i paid rs. 35 toll with rs. 500 note to get change. After tour, he charged me rs. 519, when asked for receipt, he said, i will get it on mail.in mail, it clearly shows he added rs. 55 for toll charge.

                    Toll amount is rs. 35 and that too, i paid. Such dishonest driver spoils company reputation and your peace of mind.

                      I travel from Thane to Mumbai domestic airport on 8th May 2017 at early morning by 4:30 driver name is "HARIRAM" cab no-MH 02 WA 9167
                      Driver is completely uncooperative he was using abusive language in car when we reached to the airport the amount which was display on screen was 599 and the driver asking for 670 so we just ask him how it could be 670? because your display shows 599 then he suddenly start screaming and replied "Aaisa kit kit karne wala customer nahi chahiye" and after that he took a print of bill which was completely messed up and not able to understood exact amount so i again ask him "show me total amount"
                      he rudely replied go and check the bill in light i don't know where it is written In that bill 35rs added of toll but he doesn't paid any toll he was only screaming at the end airport security staff interrupt and sort out the issue, I told him i complaint against you in your customer support he directly replied "I DON'T CARE DO WHATEVER YOU WANT", this incident was very ignominious for me
                      This experience was pathetic, driver was completely uncultured, he was illiterate even he doesn't know to respect his customers

                      Very poor service and on the top bad customer service.
                      Will never recommend this to anyone.

                      M going to write much bigger article on the subject in some time as soon as I am able to get hold of my flight

                        Drop-in Btm 2 nd stage

                        Driver dropped in the middle of the trip ( vasanth road, planatrium), telling some problem in car( deisel pipe cut).. And we are charged full fare 822/- .So driver got two benefits- 1) Not completed the trip
                        2) he got full money
                        Customer (we) got two problems-
                        1) we paid full money
                        2) on the mid trip we have to book another cab with luggage and pay extra money.

                        Note: At the start of the trip driver was not willing to take trip and trying to exchange trip with other drivers.

                          I have booked the flight to pick up from my home at bangalore to bangalore international airport on 5th mar, even through i have received the driver no sms, i have called many times to driver but he didt picked the call. I have called meeru office, they have arranged the other cab, by that time i could not able to catch the flight. Total loss was 15, 000/-, need to get claim from meeru, enclosed my invoices.

                          Airport expenses 5500
                          I have waited 4hours to catch the other flight, my and my wife time value is 35000/-
                          Total loss of 50, 000/-, Looking for immediate settlement.
                          I am nit able to retrieve my balance frm meru account- Citrus. not finding service too. this is horrible

                            I had made a booking from Salarpuria Symphony Apartments to Kalyani Magnum IT Park. The driver said he would accept only cash because his e-wallet system was not working. I cancelled the booking and yet I have been charged Rs. 85. The records are also not available on my MERU CABS app or the messages that I had received. Why was the money deducted from my e-wallet when it was the fault of the driver?

                                Hello Meru Management Team,

                                I am writing this complaint so that appropriate action could be taken to save guard the diminishing prestige / reliability of brand - MERU Radio Cabs.

                                I booked the cab on 22-Jan-2017 at 9:14 PM in the evening.

                                Source : T3 Terminal, Indira Gandhi International Airport.
                                Destination: Faridabad, Sector 7.
                                Cab Number: DL1-RY-8102
                                Pre-paid amount: Rs 1348

                                Following are my complaints: -

                                1) First of all the driver told me the tolls are extra to be paid from me which is apart from the pre-paid amount.
                                When i spoke about it with the guy who booked the cab, he confirms that tolls are included in paid fair and he instructed driver that no separate toll is to be collected.

                                2) Driver argued and told he will not follow the route where toll is present and he took the alternative route which was more congested.

                                3) The cab was awfully smelling like anything, I felt like vommetting throughout the journey.

                                4) When i asked to switch on cab A/C, he switched for minutes and then again switched off and opened window to inhale polluted outside air.

                                5) On top, he refused to give me electronic bill and gave a hand written memo.

                                This kind of stupid service was never expected from a brand like MERU. I will never take this service anytime going forward and will make sure this message is circulated to many such forums to help other fellow Indians.

                                  Hi meru,

                                  Today (Jan 10, 2017) i took meru cab (Mh01ja5936) and paid by freecharge wallet.
                                  Rupees 835 has been deducted twice from wallet, total deduction rupees 1670.00.
                                  Amount was deducted once in morning 0800 (Meru cab company private limited y7cqawaurine5w_52266479_11pin1, tue jan 10 2017, 08:00:14)
                                  And then in noon around 1328 hrs (Meru cab company private limited y7cqawaurine5w_fc[protected][protected]_11pin1, tue jan 10 2017, 13:27:56) after i recharged my freecharge account with 300 rupees.

                                  No of transaction is also same. I have mail this discrepancy to meru feedback mail id but no response or acknowledgement from them yet.

                                  I feel like cheated by company, please check and revert the transaction done twice. Ie return inr 835 back.

                                    I travelled from airport to virupakshapura today 2.30 am which is 27kms. As per the Meru rates from the web it came to 23*22+88 = rs 594. The metered bill showed rs 772, driver asked me for rs 1000 and when I asked why 1000 when meter shows 772, I haven't upgraded the meter, Meru charges has increased for mid night. Had a long fight asking him to show rule book etc, finally he took rs 800 and left scolding bad words. He also drove overspeed and roughly there was 22 times warning voice. When I ask for the invoice he was giving manual bill and not from Meru saying print is not working. I couldn't get any of his number. Could you please let me know what is the price for the distance I travelled and what actions will be against such cheat drivers and breaking traffic rules.? Also toll booth fees was paid by me.

                                      I boarded a Meru Airport taxi from Bangalore Airport @ 1.10 AM on 26th November. The driver started the cab and asked my location after few minutes on the one way exit. I told him the drop location, which is my residence near Kannuru (should be around 20+ kmts ). He informed me that the "company" has informed him not to take the straight route as it is unsafe at night and took a complete round through Ring Road. My bill was 984 Rupees. It usually costs me 350 bucks max! There was no bill, I unfortunately did not note the number as I was too tired. My drop was around 2.10 AM. I called Meru call center and they informed that the company has not informed drivers about avoiding routes for night time "safety" - he just conned me !
                                      I would like to get a refund, I believe the driver throughly cheated me by misleading and taking advantage of the hour of travel!!
