I booked Meru Cab thru Mobile app for airport drop (Bangalore international airport) from my residence ( Yelahanka New town) for 24th August at 5.000 am.
I promptly got the acceptance with ref no: 43643464on 23rd august.
Today Morning I got the sms as per the protocol at 4.37 for stating that Meru has allocated a Genie cab from Meru as the Meru cab is not available in my area.
The GENIE Car no : KA02AE5464, Chauffer: Rajesh N, mobile no: [protected] was send with a promise to pick me at 5.00 AM
There was no called received from Driver as a confirmation call, and he was not reachable, as the phone was switched off.
I was in utter panic as there was no other way and all attempt to reach MERU customer service on[protected], was futile as it was put thru automated answering machine.
Having no option in sight I have to chose, what I have most. I hve booked OLA cabs for airport drop with huge peak hour charges.
What was more intriguing for me was a SMS at 6.18 am showing the Trip tracking details for above mentioned cab and showing the trip completed .
This is third such incident in past 2 months with me in Bangalore. Earlier complaints were not responded as well.
I am looking for an answer from Meru management, on this type of customer services, and what action are they taking on such incident.
Can they share the closure of action taken on such irresponsible behavior fromt the cab drivers. Was this information helpful? |
