Mi India — Mi misleading customers by giving wrong delivery status and withholding customer money | |||||
Reference mi india order number [protected] dated 19th may 2016. I had ordered mi4i from mi india. The order status shows that order was shipped by fedex on 21st may. When you go to track on fedex tracking, it shows that only the label is created. I have tried to contact mi customer service multiple times. Without looking at the facts of the case, they ask customers to be patient and say that delivery will be done in 5-7 days. Also, wrong information is provided over email saying that the item is out of warehouse and customer needs to follow up with the courier, whereas courier has still not received the item for delivery. Its now more than 12 days but still the item is not out from the warehouse. Mi senior executive has confirmed about this but to no avail and the status of the order still is the same. Also, mi does not give option to cancel the order in such situation saying that the order is shipped. This is wrong information provided and just a mechanism to use the customers money already received. A internal complaint number 1759330 has been created since last 4 days and it still is without any updates. I request mi to ship this item and if they are not competent for the same then atleast to cancel the order and refund the money illegally withheld. Was this information helpful? | |||||

I was promised that delivery will happen by 2nd June but there has been no update. Again officials gave false promises of delivery which were never completed. I have asked to cancel the order and refund the money. Yet to get response from MI .
