i purchased a micromax canvas a116 hd mobile phone on 17th August, 2013.Few days ago my phone got hanged.it was not actually a hang, it doesn't response to my touch.I brought my phone to the micromax service centre.They said me that my phone's touch has been cracked from inside and i would have to pay Rs.1750/- for a new touch.I told them that my phone is under warranty and one month is left for warranty to expire.He said to me that there is no warranty on the hardware of the phone and trying to repair my phone they broke my whole touch and said it was usual that the touch broke, I became so angry and frustrated.I searched on internet, and i found so many people have the same complaint.Moreover, the mmx service centre charged Rs.300 for the service checking even that my phone was under the warranty period.It was their duty to check it, isn't it?If not, then what's the use of the warranty to any costumer if company don't give warranty on the hardware of the phone.
