Mobikwik — credit card/fraud | |||
My wife is a credit card holder of rbl bank. On 05/12/2019. She got a call, claiming to be from rbl bank. The caller is providing all the details of the customer. Like name, card no. Dob etc. That she is calling for rewardz points redemption. That today is the last date for redemption of the points. After convincing my wife. Finally she convinced her not to tell the card no/cvv verbally instead to enter it on phone keypad. She trusted that it could be from bank side and enter the details she asked for. (As banks do ask on ivr) 2 transactions taken place one for rs.21, 000/- & other for rs.10, 500/- on mobikwik. At a time how mobikwik is allowing the customer to add such a huge amount. In paytm at one time one can add not more than 2000/-. In case any fraud happens to anybody.in the mean time the customer can become alert if the amount is in least amount. (Feature loss can be stopped) My suggestion is wallets, should not be given permission to add huge amounts. Instead of least denominations. If it is really required one can add multiple times.
