Moglix — Rejection of return request for the defective item

I had ordered the product Make: Balwaan 4 stroke Red side pack crop brush cutter MTAK-EN-BR-689 online through moglix app. The product was sold by Modish Tractoraurkisan Pvt Ltd, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The product was having return policy for damaged with in 2 days and for defective with in 7 days.

The value of the item is Rs 9900 /-

The item was received against my order No. 4629026 on 28-Jun-2023. Unfortunately the item could not be opened with in 3 days as I was busy with personal reasons. On the forth day ie on[protected] when the consignment was opened I was shocked to see the product casing was physically damaged. On raising the request for return in the portal, the same was rejected stating return policy for damaged is only 2 days.

Since the item could not be returned, I tried to assemble the product. Now I was surprised the clutch coupling is totally wobbling and the handle mounting assembly unit was having crack thereby the product sent is not only physically damaged but also defective.

so I once again raised the request about the defective item in the portal on the 6th day ie on[protected]. But my request was once again closed stating that the item is damaged and not defective and the return policy for the damaged item is 2 days from the date of delivery.

I tried to contact the customer care and explain the problem but their are not ready to accept the problem is defective and claiming only about the return policy of 2 days for the damaged item.

Hence, I here by request the concern to kindly intervene in this issue and arrange for return and refund of the product.

Dear Sir, We regret the inconvenience caused to you. We checked the case and as per the images shared from your end, your product is damaged which you raised after 48 hours of delivery. Hence, we won't be able to accept your return request as the return timeline is already over.

What about the mater related to defective coupling and handing mounting unit which I have raised within 07 days which is also a part of return policy.
